Once upon a time finding a decent cup of coffee in Bali was impossible! Now there are fantastic cafes opening up all over Bali. The Italian Illy and Lavazza are still the stand out favourites over here but many places will also serve the local Kintamani coffee, which is worth a try.
Cafes in Seminyak
Revolver – cafe on Seminyak’s Eat street hidden behind a trendy shop. Literally zero street frontage. Ridiculously small and popular. Best coffee in Bali, both locals and expats know it. Worth sticking your head in the door and grabbing a cup if you happen to see it walking past.
Drifter – a groovy coffee shop and surf store, loaded with books, clothing and plenty of magazines to flick through while enjoying a cup of brew.
Deus Coffee Shop – there is a Deus Restaurant in Canggu and a coffee shop in Seminyak. Both locations are popular with locals, expats and bike enthusiasts. Deus’ coffees have been called the best in Bali — we’re happy to agree.
Sea Circus – this trendy Seminyak restaurant / cafe is a great place. Wi-Fi is reasonably fast for Bali. Interesting place for people watching too.
Cafes in Petitenget
Drop Coffee Shop – another newbie in Petitenget with a very casual setting on the main road. Just near Semara Resort this little cafe makes a great coffee and breakfast. They also hold a ‘Garage Sale’ monthly.
Ippolito Cafe – located in Petitenget this coffee shop and wine bar is always a little quiet as it’s in a quiet street off the main road. Great coffee but expensive wine.
