Getting There
Although it is possible to get to Cape Yamu, Phuket over land or water, the best way is to fly.
AIRPORT AND PIER TRANSFERS
It can take between 30 minutes to 45 minutes to reach Cape Yamu from Phuket International Airport depending on traffic. Ministry of Villas can arrange a chauffeur to greet you upon arrival and escort you to your villa.
AIRPORT TAXI
Alternatively, there is a taxi desk at the arrival level which arranges one-way fares at a fixed-price. You can opt one of the transfer options – a shared mini van with other travellers or a private taxi.

PRIVATE CAR
Ministry of Villas can arrange a private car and chauffeur for you. Depending on which villa you are staying in, the cost for the private vehicle with a driver can vary, so it’s recommended to contact our Ministry of Villas team to get the complete information about the private transfers.
ON FOOT
Cape Yamu is an ideal place to take long strolls along the beautiful shaded streets running through the private peninsula. Depending on in which villa property you are staying, you can reach the beach within minutes and stroll along the shoreline until yacht mooring pier.
RENTAL SCOOTER
There are no motorbike rental shops in Cape Yamu, so if you prefer moving around on two wheels, it is recommended to rent a scooter in other popular tourist locations. Take into account that you must always have an international drivers license on your person at all times, otherwise, the local police can issue you a ticket with a summons to appear in court. And, of course, make sure you wear a helmet.
RENTAL CAR
There are no car rental shops in Cape Yamu, so if you are travelling from the Phuket International Airport, it is highly recommended to hire a car from one of the offices located in the arrival terminal. The car travel in Cape Yamu is a fast and convenient way to explore the area and travel further afield at your own pace.
TAXI
As Cape Yamu is a private peninsula, there are no taxis scurrying along the streets, but you can always ask your villa manager to require a pick-up by phone. Travelling by taxi is another great alternative to the private car travel, however, it is recommended to opt the metered taxi, or negotiate about the price beforehand.
