Our peaceful and serene one-night stay in Villa Cemadik is something I will remember for a long time. This is the reason I chose to go on villa holidays!

Check-in Villa Cemadik

Around just 1.5 hours from bustling Seminyak, and you find yourself in the tranquil rural Ubud area. Nestled amidst the splendid rice fields, surrounded by the rainforest, Villa Cemadik accommodated us with the typical warm Balinese hospitality. We arrived in the evening and were prepared for the check-in process, however, instead we were welcomed with the sincere smile of the manager and had the fastest check-in we have ever had, as well as a lovely villa tour! What an ideal way to start our stay.

Sunset Dinner at Villa Cemadik

A contemporary living style featured with typical Balinese architecture and details perfectly combine in Villa Cemadik. Spacious living room and dining areas with the open plan design all offer an incredible view over the expansive rice paddies. I relished in the feeling of serenity during dinner while watching the sunset and savouring the delicious Indonesian chicken curry served by our talented villa chef. This sense of inner peace accompanying me during the whole night and the next day in the villa.

Ultimate Relaxation

Waking up with the sunrise has something intimate about it, especially when there is only you and awakening nature, with the whole day ahead. The private swimming pool surrounded by the verdant rice paddies and tropical palms was the first place where I headed after such a good night’s sleep! There is a gazebo set aside from the pool where I decided to meditate and do some yoga exercises as well. It was the most spiritual moment I felt during the stay, where the tranquility and divine surrounding contributed to an ultimate feeling of relaxation.

Breakfast Amidst the Rice Fields

After the morning activities, we decided to ask for our breakfast, and what a feast it was! The meal was fresh and abundant – the omelette, fruit plate, toast with jam and Bali coffee. It was a faultless continental breakfast. There was reading material and magazines also offered to read over the morning meal, however, the stunning view distracted me from anything else.

After the breakfast, we decided to go explore the famed Ubud Market and legendary Monkey Forest, which is only a 15-minute drive from the villa. That time spent in the villa charged me with refreshed energy so I felt I could take on the world! The stay in Villa Cemadik was more than just a relaxing holiday, it was an experience of finding inner peace with surrounding nature and I felt the perfect location to escape modern life.
