Villa Maya at the Majapahit Beach Villas
Our team packed their bags and we hired a car to head and stay at the stunning beachfront villa within the Majapahit Beach Villas. There are only 4 villas within this private beachfront complex, two with fantastic ocean views.
The villa has 3 king bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms in the main house. The fourth room is in a private joglo with kitchenette and private plunge pool. The bedroom is slightly smaller than the other 3 rooms however with this room you also have a private open-air living room. The dining room is in a private pavilion next to the the beachfront with a massage room off to the right with an attached bathroom.
The sunset was amazing. The sky changed into vibrant shades of pink and purple reflecting back off the pool. Perfect for a photo or two.
The living room
The living room can be opened up or fully enclosed. We choose to leave the villa open and at 5pm the staff prepared the villa with mosquito coils and placed spray bottles around. The cool ocean breeze actually kept the mozzies at bay however I do recommend closing the doors of the living room around dusk. Just keep in mind this area is not air-conditoned but don’t worry all the bedrooms are.
The grand feast
A stay at a villa is not complete without the staff preparing a dinner for you. The staff at Villa Maya were wonderful and we pre-ordered our meals prior to arrival and they were served on time. We had the Greek salad, chicken and cashew nut, traditional Balinese Gado Gado, avocado and papaya salad with drinks. However there is so much more to choose from on the menu. You can even arrange a special bbq buffet dinner or romantic dinner for two.
Staying at Villa Maya
If you are keen to book Villa Maya for an upcoming holiday the villa starts from $878 per night in the low season for 8 guests. There is also a one, two and three bedroom option available within the complex if you have less guests. Check availability here for the Majapahit beach villas.
