    Hello!

Thanks for a great article, this helps me a lot. I am trying to decide what area of Bali to stay at on NYE. My friends and I have reservations at the Laguna hotel, but we just realized that it’s compulsory to attend their NYE party. Not only is it quite pricey, but I’m afraid the scene will be an older crowd and not as much fun. We are a group of single ladies in our mid-thirties from London and we want to dance. I’m afraid Laguna will be mostly couples and not a great scene.

We may move our hotel reservations to the Westin Nusa Dua since it’s not compulsory to attend the Westin’s party. I haven’t been to the Nusa Dua area. Can you tell me more about what clubs would be more fun in that area?

Otherwise, we may move to the Le Meridian in Jimbaran Bay and try to take your suggestion and go to the Rocks bar for NYE. I wasn’t able to find information on that party. Do you know how much it costs and if we need reservations?

Thanks in advance for your help and writing a great article!

    Best,
    Laura

      Hi Laura,

Thank you for your message. We have recently added a new post on NYE parties for 2016 and you can have a look at what suits you the best.
      /new-years-eve-in-bali-2016

The best parties are around Seminyak but if you choose to party here then make sure your accommodation is at walking distance from the club. The roads get blocked and it’s difficult to find a taxi.

Rock Bar is a great option and you’ll find the details in the link above. Again, we’d recommend staying at Ayana Resort or somewhere near since you’d find it difficult to get back home after the party. Le Meridian is about 5 km from Rock Bar.

For Nusa Dua, Nikki Beach Bali at Sofitel is a great option! (Details in the link)

Do let us know if you need any more assistance. Cheers :)
