Bali Island Villas Here We Come
Arriving at Bali Island Villas I was pleasantly surprised. The location is amazing! It’s located right in the heart of Petitenget – Seminyak. Our driver pulled into the private lane just off one of the hottest locations in Bali and I couldn’t wait to unpack and get my walking shoes on. We drove past so many cool spas and boutiques that I was glad I purchased those extra kilos.
Easy Check-in
The staff came out to greet me and collect my bags. I have stayed at many properties and this is one of the fastest check-ins I’ve had. The beautiful staff at Bali Island Villas simply asked me for my passport, which they photocopied, and I was on my way to the villa. There is no going back to hotel lobbies after staying at a villa. You can even request to check-in from the comfort of your villa.
That Red Lounge
The door swung open and immediately the amazing red leather lounges caught my eye. Days later I still head for the red couch after I walk in the door, as they are that comfortable!
Each villa has a fully equipped kitchen, mini bar and water cooler. Bali Island Villas also include complimentary soft drinks in the fridge that you can help yourself to or there are two bottles of wine in the villa that you can purchase.
Relaxing in My Own Private Villa
The living room wall has a display cabinet showcasing local art. There is also a collection of reading books to enjoy that you can swap with one you have finished.
Every villa has an abundance of natural light coming in through the floor to ceiling sliding door that can also open right up to create a more open plan design yet at night. The bedroom has wooden sliding doors to block out the light from the living area and allow you to sleep in.
My Private Swimming Pool
The established garden and pool area make for a lovely backdrop from my position on the red couch: a perfect way to relax indoors while soaking in Bali’s tropical plant life outside.
Trying The Amazing Meals
Bali Island Villas include complimentary breakfast and you can choose from buttermilk pancakes, lightly fried eggs with bacon or sausages; scrambled eggs with smoked salmon or chorizo on toasted biva; Mia or Nasi goreng for something a little more traditional or a banana wrap. There is so much more to choose from but this is what I had during my stay.
The food was so good I also stayed in for lunch on two occasions and recommend the Herb Crumb pork cutlets and the Panini w/cheddar cheese, oven roasted tomatoes and peppers. Seriously mouth-wateringly good!
I’ll Be Back
Overall I highly recommend the Bali Island Villas for a great little getaway right in the middle of the action. Perfect for couples or two friends happy to share the one big king size bed.
