Note that 48 Lighthouse Street can only accommodate guests over the age of 12.

48 Lighthouse Street preserves the historic charm of Galle with rooms featuring curated antiques and original architecture just waiting to be photographed. The villa has a dedicated staff, including a personal chef, and a great location within minutes from the closest restaurants.
The formal living room has a towering 7-metre ceiling with a generous sofa and armchairs surrounded by beautiful antiques. You can also relax out on the covered terrace where you’ll find chic rattan seating.
The dining table overlooks the garden and can seat up to 10 guests. The table is flanked by a fully stocked bar with additional seating on high bar stools.
The media room houses a flatscreen TV with satellite channels and doubles as library, housing part of the owner’s personal book collection.
48 Lighthouse Street is hugged by a tropical garden which features a covered pavilion, making for a scenic alfresco lounge.

48 Lighthouse Street maintains the look and feel of historic Galle Fort. There are plenty of common living areas to choose from, ranging from the living room to the media room, which also works as a library. In addition to the indoor living spaces, there’s also a covered pavilion in the garden. True to the building’s architectural integrity, the rooms have high ceilings and the floors are connected through ornately carved staircases.

Your stay in 48 Lighthouse Street is made enjoyable by the professional staff. 48 Lighthouse Street’s staff have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly hospitality.
48 Lighthouse Street’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.
48 Lighthouse Street caters for light lunches and dinners and in the event something more substantial is required, there are numerous restaurants within a 5 minute walk of the house. We have arrangements with the Fortaleza and Fort Printers restaurants for our guests.
48 Lighthouse Street offers an amazing location right in the centre of the UNESCO protected Galle Fort in southern Sri Lanka. Galle Fort is a destination in and of itself, housing some of the most beautiful colonial architecture you’ll find anywhere on the planet. The villa’s location is also convenient thanks to the restaurants and cafes housed within a short walk. You can reach Dalawella Beach in a 15-minute drive. 48 Lighthouse Street is located about 2 hours and 20 minutes from the airport.
