Inspired by the grand aesthetics of the Amalfi Coast, this glorious estate is set amidst magnificent landscaped gardens complete with a tennis court and an immense swimming pool. The rooms are decorated with a curated selection of exquisite artwork, antiques and Venetian furniture, making you feel like the ruler of your own private palazzo. The grounds and interiors alone would make this one of the most spectacular villas in New Zealand – but then there are the jaw-dropping facilities, ranging from a private gym to an exclusive yoga studio. Take your pick between the six Venetian inspired bedrooms and let la dolce vita take over.

Entering Ataahua Lodge truly feels like visiting a grand Italian palazzo, with a palm lined pathway welcoming you into this fabulous estate. With rooms filled with art, antiques and fine furniture, it’s easy to forget you’re only moments away from New Zealand’s stunning coastline.

Living Room

True to the villa’s lavish layout and grandiose design, Ataahua Lodge features multiple living areas for guests to lounge about and relax in. The main living room is simply stunning, with a fireplace, a mirror with gilded frames and a shimmering chandelier playing up the ambiance. Seating is available on plush white sofas and arm chairs, with windows looking out to the spectacular gardens.

Dining Room

The villa features an elegant dining room with a surprisingly contemporary outlook, with a wooden dining table surrounded by 10 white chairs. A second dining area which adjoins the living room fluidly has a more grand décor and features an open-plan kitchen tucked to the side of the room. Guests can also dine alfresco on the shaded patio, where a more casual table offers views of the villa’s magnificent gardens and swimming pool.

Garden

The gardens are a thing of wonder, with a palm tree line pathway welcoming you to this grand estate. Besides the beautiful landscaping, highlights include a private tennis court and a leisurely lap pool. A beautiful ornamental pond adds to the palatial feel of the estate.

Gym

The villa includes a private gym looking out to the pool, with equipment including a cardio machines and weights, with a flatscreen TV to keep you entertained while working out. The villa also features a bespoke yoga room.

Ataahua Lodge has six bedrooms. Like the rest of the villa, the bedrooms are inspired by the ornate aesthetics of Italy. Five rooms come with super king-sized beds, while the sixth room is great for families as it comes with two queen beds, two single beds and two trundle beds. The villa is designed to accommodate up to 10 guests. After 10 guests, an extra charge will apply for each additional guest.

Ataahua Lodge is a huge six-bedroom estate with generous living and dining areas, private swimming pool, tennis court, yoga studio and gym.

Your stay in Ataahua Lodge is made enjoyable by the professional staff. Ataahua Lodge’s staff have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly hospitality.

Housekeeping

You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.

Chef

The villa’s skilled private chef will happily prepare anything from the Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s suggestion menus, as well as discuss special requests and dietary requirements.

Ataahua Lodge is located in Omokoroa in the Bay of Plenty in New Zealand. The villa sits right on the periphery of the Omokoroa Golf Club and it’s only a five-minute drive to Omokoroa Beach. The city of Tauranga is about 20 minutes away by car.
