Surrounded by awe-inspiring mountain range, this modern day country manor is ideal for multigenerational family getaways with plenty of room for the kids to roam while the grownups soak in the spectacular scenery and gracious design. After a dip in the sensational glass-fronted swimming pool (or perhaps a jaunt on the outdoor trampoline), curl up by the fireside and savour a perfect glass of local wine as you gaze out to the mountains circling the property.

Cairnbrae combines classic countryside charm with fresh modern polish, all surrounded by jaw-dropping mountainside scenery. The thoughtful layout is ideal for extended families, with five bedrooms to retreat to after enjoying quality time both indoors and outside by the pool.

Living Room

The living room offers cosy comfort alongside beautiful mountain vistas. Lined with ample windows, the space is filled with natural light and scenery, while the beautifully crafted stone fireplace offers warm comfort for the whole family. Plush sofas and velvet covered armchairs provide plenty of room for the whole group. For a cosier setting still, retreat to the snug where you can laze about on the chesterfield sofa while flipping through the channels or better yet, belt out a tune on the grand piano!

Dining Room

At the other end of the living room, a sturdy wooden dining table is surrounded by eight elegantly mismatched chairs. The classic feel of the dining set is beautifully contrasted by the modern light fixture illuminating the dining area. Guests can also enjoy their meals out on the deck where a long dining table is flanked by a pizza oven and a barbecue. The villa comes with a fully-equipped kitchen and a fabulous wine cellar for true connoisseurs.

Garden

The villa is surrounded by spectacular landscape with plenty of room to roam and drink in the fresh mountain air. And it’s not just the views that’ll bring the whole group to the yard. Cairnbrae comes with sensational outdoor facilities, the most striking of which is undoubtably the glass-fronted swimming pool – though the kids will also love the trampoline. On a level below the pool, the outdoor entertainment are offers direct views into the glass-encased pool and also features a generous dining and lounging area complete with a barbecue and a pizza oven.

Cairnbrae has five bedrooms – two come with ensuite bathrooms while the remaining three share a bathroom between them. Three rooms come with split beds which can be set up as king or two singles as needed. Of the remaining two rooms, one has a king bed and the other features a queen.

Cairnbrae is located in Arrowtown, some 25 minutes from downtown Queenstown in New Zealand. The villa is surrounded by spectacular mountain scape and offers prime access to the great outdoors New Zealand has become so well-known for. The Remarkable ski fields are about 40 minutes away and you can reach the Queenstown golf greens in about 30 minutes.
