“Magnificent Villa”
Absolutely magnificent villa, the staff was outstanding, frankly I’m at a loss to figure out a couple of those bad reviews, Perhaps things changed, but changed with no sign of those past complaints, and honestly, it seems impossible to imagine that these warm and generous people have ever been anything but. As for the cleanliness, well it was spotless. We were a family of three adult couples on our first visit to Bali, and the villa was definitely our Shangri-La.
Made the manager went to any length to make sure our every need was take care of. He is also a wonderful cook so much so that we ate in every night. You couldn’t ask for a better evening view than looking out over the infinity pool at the Indian Ocean far below. All the staff were similarly helpful and smiling continually. He even catered a private party for 18 all effortlessly and deliciously. As we were three couples we used the three main bedrooms in the villa proper, there is a fourth bedroom in the back of the villa, well appointed but with no view. We are not what you would call particularly easy to please so this glowing review should be taken as just that.
Room Tip: Two rooms on either end are the loveliest, but master is outstanding.

“Beautiful villa, unfortunate location”
Stayed in the villa with friends. The booking process was very easy, the team very professional. Arranged a boat trip and seafood bbq through the team before arriving in Bali. The villa is absolutely gorgeous, big pool that is just perfect after (or before) a day of exploring. The master bedroom is quite a bit bigger than any of the other 3 so deciding who gets it if you’re travelling with friends is a little tricky.
There is a little roofed terrace just off the living area where we spent most of our nights and even a couple of lazy hours during the day. The villa is rather randomly located and trying to find it or your way back to it can be tricky. There are no bars, cafes or shops nearby. There is no real view to speak of, and the sea is not visible from the villa. There is a place just across the street which rent out scooters. We didn’t venture too far from the villa though as we didn’t want to get lost, but the road to Uluwatu Temple and the beach down there is quite easy to find if you have wheels and it’s really worth doing.
Beach access is a bit complicated, the ride (on a scooter) is 5-10 minutes and then you have to walk down a hundred odd stairs to get to the beach. (You can’t enter through the hotel.) It’s really pretty, but there are no facilities. Breakfast every morning was amazing and the seafood BBQ they did for us was ridiculously cheap for the amount and quality of seafood we got – really recommended.
The day-trip we did on the boat to the Lembongan Islands was also great, would definitely recommend. If you are looking for a relaxing hide-out then it’s perfect as the villa is gorgeous and the staff are incredibly nice and go out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable. If you are looking for a base to explore from i wouldn’t recommend it though,
