Foxwood D Living

Foxwood D is a cool, cutting-edge chalet that also exudes joie de vivre. Windows play a huge role in making this chalet what it is, with floor to ceiling glass framing mesmerising views of Mount Yotei and small square windows adding a touch of whimsy. The furniture too is anything but cookie cutter, with well curated pieces adding some serious style points and making the chalet blissfully liveable. This is the perfect place for getting cosy during winter, relishing the warm comfort as you drink in those majestic views.

Living Room

The living room is a truly sensational space with an angled floor to ceiling window framing some of the best views in all of Niseko. Recline back on the pillowy sofa to enjoy epic views of mighty Mount Yotei towering over the ski valley. When you’re not too mesmerised by the views, there’s a huge flatscreen TV to keep you entertained. We also love how the circular coffee table and mirror juxtapose the angular design of the room and the square shaped peek a boo windows that dot the wall behind the sofa.

Dining Room

Just like the lounge area, the nearby dining area is furnished with unique statement pieces. The marble top dining table is an undeniable show piece as is the chandelier that hangs above it. As a fun contrast, the table is surrounded by eight chesterfield dining chairs. A sleek open plan kitchen seamlessly joins the dining area, offering all the crockery, cutlery and appliances you’ll need during your stay.

I visited this property last week and I fell in love with the wooden design of this property. I love the high glass window where you can see the magnificent views of Mount Yotei.

We stayed at Foxwood E a few years ago and I recently revisited the property – incredibly, it still looks brand new, inside and out! I love the angles of the chalet and the bathtub – this is not your standard boxy chalet :)

Foxwood stands out as an excellent complex of chalets. The accommodations are not only clean but also exceptionally comfortable. The wooden ceiling and floor furnishings add a pleasant touch, enhancing the overall atmosphere. The expansive glass windows in the living area provide a delightful backdrop for enjoying the majestic view of Mount Yotei.

Looking for amazing value? Then look no further. We stayed here for 2 nights and had a great time. The chalet is out of town so a car is recommended and if you have wheels it’s in a really nice location close to Niseko Village and the Hilton hotel.

The kitchen is great! We cooked with ease and loved having loads of bench space.

The beds were very comfortable and the throw rugs and variety of cushions improve the basic setting significantly. The bedrooms also felt spacious, which it fantastic. The sheer curtains in the downstairs bedrooms are a lovely feature. Storage throughout the bedrooms and utility rooms downstairs is fantastic! Washing and dryer is also downstairs which makes it easy if you are in town for a week.
