Sun, sand and surf – this is what Jimbaran is all about. The gorgeous white sandy beaches make you want to do nothing more than soak up the sun and laze around. If you do find yourself in the mood for some fun activities, you can indulge in some serious surfing at the Bay. Some of the breaks may be too far out to actually be able to paddle out but the availability of chartered boats enables you to enjoy them nevertheless.

Swimming is another very popular activity that the beach at Jimbaran is famous for. In fact, it is believed that the Bay offers some of the safest waters for people to swim in, catering for adults and children alike. The glorious beach is extremely popular with locals as well as tourists, which is why it can get extremely crowded. If you’re not in the mood for mingling with the crowds but would rather spend a quieter day at the beach, you should head to the southern end, which witnesses far less by way of crowds. In front of the Four Seasons Resort is the quietest but the whole stretch is very relaxing.
