Gustav’s Hideaway is an enormous three-storey property designed with splashes of colour, unique touches and playful elements. Enjoy majestic views of Mount Yotei from the spacious balcony, one of the four bedrooms or better yet – the outdoor Jacuzzi. Gustav’s Hideaway is located in a peaceful area of Hirafu but still within walking distance to some cool local restaurants frequented by those in the know – and right by one of the best viewing spots for snapping photos with Mount Yotei as your backdrop. The playful interiors, top-of-the-line features, spacious layout and strategic location make Gustav’s Hideaway the perfect powder pad in Hirafu.

In an area filled with streamlined cookie cutter chalets, Gustav’s Hideaway stands out with its quirky cool design which incorporates playful splashes of colour and cool design elements. The chalet might look cool and collected on the outside but don’t let that fool you – a world of fun and colour awaits on the inside.

Living Room

The spacious living room is strategically placed on the top floor to maximise the views. Plush leather sofas give the space a cosy alpine feel, with a colourful sofa and pillows adding some life and colour. A huge flatscreen TV is perfectly poised for hosting movie nights with the family. There’s also a cosy TV room on the ground floor, close to the bunk bedroom. The piece de resistance is the spacious Jacuzzi located right outside on the third-floor balcony.

Dining Room

The dining area is a part of the living room, with a large wooden dining table comfortably seating 10 guests. A sleek breakfast bar separates a fully equipped kitchen fitted with sky blue cabinets from the dining area.

Gustav’s Hideaway has four bedrooms. One room has a king-sized bed, one room has a queen-sized bed and one room has a split bed which can be set up either as a king or two single beds. The fourth bedroom has three sets of bunk beds.

Gustav’s Hideaway is a large four-bedroom chalet that’s built over three floors. The ground floor houses the bunk bedroom, TV room, laundry room and ski storage. The middle floor houses three more bedrooms. The top floor houses the living and dining room and a Jacuzzi located outside on the balcony.

Your stay is made enjoyable by the professional staff who have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly hospitality.

Property Manager

The chalet’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the chalet. The property manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

Our chalets in Japan often have housekeeping 1 – 2 times per week depending on the property. Each chalet will have their own cleaning schedule.

Gustav’s Hideaway is located in the peaceful lower end of Hirafu Village, looking out to fields of snow and Mount Yotei in the distance. The ski lifts are a brisk 15-minute walk away but the ski shuttle stop is just a short five-minute hike away. The shuttle is also a convenient way to reach the restaurants in the centre of village – though there are some cool izakayas and pubs hidden closer by in the lower village.
