What a property! Unique design with captivating views. And the onsen bath in the living room is pretty damn cool!

We LOVE the style! I love the name and it’s perfect for this hidden gem. The design is fantastic and we really like the feeling as soon you walk into the property. The design is clever with the living area that can be closed off with a bathroom creating a 3rd bedroom. I think this is perfect for kids but not too young as the onsen is right next door in the living room. The highlight is the amazing onsen overlooking Mt Yotei. Why don’t more properties have these? I loved that it was in the living area and not hidden away in the basement like many properties seem to do. Or on a balcony where you have no control on the cold air outside. With this design, we could open up the sliding doors or close. The dining table is big enough to sit 8 guests, but pretty bright during the day trying to sit there and work as the blinds don’t cut out the light. But if you are out skiing then it’s not a problem. I found the chairs to be very comfortable too.

We are a big fan of Apple TV’s and love that this place had one. The couch looked cool but when watching TV not very comfortable. More cushions may have helped but for me I love the lounges where you sink in and can really relax. But not sure something like this would compliment the design of the interior.

The fold away gym area is a brilliant idea and it just needs some weights and it’s perfect for those wanting to keep fit. I opened the door and that was enough exercise for me ;)

Highly recommend this place for a couple or small family wanting a touch of luxury. You do need a car for staying down here otherwise it’s a long walk up.
