Living Room

The Joglo house has a main living area. The house has colonial style interiors and artistic embellishments traditional to ancient Javanese living.

Dining Room

The island has a bale which is a cozy standalone dining pavilion with cushioned daybeds and traditional serving trays.

Garden & Pool

In the midst of a tropical jungle garden is the Balinese Lumbung.

Isle East Indies offers the luxury of having an entire private island to yourself, accommodating a maximum of eight guests in four Javanese style pavilions.

Master Bedroom

The Joglo house has two master bedrooms, each with attached en-suite bathrooms. The Joglo bedrooms known as Sentong Wetan and Sentong Kulon have an identical layout with a beautifully carved four poster bed. The white mosquito nets, Egyptian cotton sheets and traditional Indonesian covers offer uninterrupted hours of sleep. The bedrooms also has a wooden carved wardrobe and side tables. Two large antique style bathrooms have high ceilings and open bamboo grills, with old antique enamel washbasins and a shower head.

Guest Bedrooms

The Malay Guest house is a separate cosy pavilion with twin queen size beds, adjacent bathroom and a peaceful verandah. This house directly sits facing the sea. Imagine waking up to beautiful sunrise with the colours of the sky sparkling on the blue water. Side tables, comfortable plantation chairs and outdoor sun loungers complete this perfect private island hideaway.

In the midst of a tropical jungle garden is the Balinese Lumbung, housing two children or teenagers in its tree-top like room. The house three metres above the ground is accessed by a ladder and has a double bed on its floor. A separate bathroom with outdoor shower is outside the main villa.

Your stay in Isle East Indies is made enjoyable by the professional staff. Isle East Indies’s staff have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly Balinese hospitality.

Villa Manager

Isle East Indies’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.

Butlers

Butlers are on hand everyday to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout your stay.

Chef

The villa’s skilled private chef will happily prepare anything from the Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s suggestion menus, as well as discuss special requests and dietary requirements.

Isle East Indies is a precious gem amongst the collection of stunning tropical islands – Indonesia’s Thousand Islands set in the Java Sea near Jakarta. A leisurely cruise from Jakarta’s Ancol Marina Harbour onboard the island’s vintage motor sailing yacht the ‘Raden Mas’ is the best way to reach the private island. It takes about four hours to reach Isle East Indies during which guests can enjoy drinks and refreshments on the shaded deck of the yacht. Speed boat transfers are also available.
