Kabayama Log House is a warm and comfortable abode, which makes a perfect holiday home in a peaceful neighbourhood.

If you’re looking for an ideal wooden cabin, Kabayama Log House is definitely a good bet. The house is built with cedar logs and was recently renovated to look like a modern wooden cabin in 2008. The expansive deck from the living room has breathtaking views of Mount Yotei and some of the bedrooms enjoy the view of the ski slopes on the rear. It’s recommended to rent a vehicle and go around town as the house has a large garage space which saves you from the hassle of cleaning the snow off your car!

Living Room

The open plan living area is an ideal place to spend a relaxing evening with a glass of wine and the warm wooden interiors give you a complete mountain cabin feeling. The living room opens out to an enormous deck which has outdoor sofas, to enjoy the unobstructed views of Mount Yotei and the forests. The stylish, contemporary furnishings and décor ensure warmth and comfort.

Dining Room

The dining area is across the living room, which features an 8 seater wooden dining table and a compact modern kitchen is equipped with all the essentials to cook a hearty meal.

The bedrooms in Kabayama Log House are tastefully decorated and give you a ski-cabin feel. The three bedrooms of the house are located on the first floor and have a shared bathroom. Two of the bedrooms have access to a huge terrace that lets you enjoy gorgeous Mount Yotei views. The bedding configuration in two bedrooms are queen sized beds, one bedroom has twin beds and the fourth bedroom has a sofa bed which can be used as a second living room. There are three toilets and shower rooms in the Kabayama Log House.

The grand three-storey Kabayama Log House offers spacious with open plan living areas on the ground floor along with a bedroom that has a double sofa bed that can be used as a second living room. The main living lounge flows through the kitchen and dining area and opens out to a gorgeous balcony which offers excellent views of Mount Yotei. The first floor consists of three bedrooms and a separate shower room and toilet. Two of the bedrooms open out to a large terrace. The basement floor of the Kabayama Log House has two shower rooms and toilets, the ski-storage and drying room, a garage and a laundry section.

Your stay is made enjoyable by the professional staff who have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly hospitality.

Villa Manager

The villa’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

Our villas in Japan often have housekeeping 1 – 2 times per week depending on the property. Each villa will have their own cleaning schedule.

Kabayama Log House is located in St Moritz, which is on the outskirts of Hirafu Village, among several houses and pensions. There are a couple of great restaurants and cafes nearby like “Gentem Restaurant” which is famous for their Asian cuisine and then there’s Lupicia which serves Japanese-European cuisine at mid-range prices. The village shuttle bus stops as close as 50 meters away from the front door.
