Kasetsu offers ample space and lavish modern furnishings for large groups. The entrance foyer features a nine-metre high ceiling and a stone wall feature spanning all three floors. The six bedrooms are divided across the three floors, offering a sense of space and privacy for all guests.
The living area is spacious with an open-plan layout and adjoined by an enormous balcony for you to enjoy the views the mountains. The living room is furnished with a huge settee with big grey cushions, a gas fireplace and warm plush carpet to keep you comfortable.
The dining table sits right across from the living room and seats 10. Next to the dining area, there’s a fully-equipped western kitchen.
The media room is located on the ground floor and features a 52-inch flatscreen TV, Blu-ray player and iPod dock.
Kasetsu has six bedrooms. Four rooms have split beds which can be used as a king-sized bed or two single beds as needed. One room has three sets of bunk beds. The sixth room is a traditional tatami room with three futons. There is one bedroom on the lower floor, four bedrooms are on the middle floor and one bedroom is housed on the top floor.
The first bedroom is a traditional tatami room with straw mat flooring, housed on the lower floor. The room is furnished with three futons, with a bathroom located right outside.

The second bedroom is housed upstairs and comes with a king-sized bed which can also be set up as two single beds. There is a bathroom with a bathtub and shower on the same floor.

Kasetsu is a six-bedroom chalet that’s divided over three floors. The ground floor includes the media room, tatami bedroom and a shared bathroom. The middle level features three bedrooms with split beds and one room with two sets of bunk beds. There are three bathrooms on this floor, two of them ensuite. The top floor houses the open-plan living and dining area and the ensuite master bedroom.
Your stay is made enjoyable by the professional staff who have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly hospitality.
The chalet’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the chalet. The property manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
Our chalets in Japan often have housekeeping 1 – 2 times per week depending on the property. Each chalet will have their own cleaning schedule.
Kasetsu is located in Lower Hirafu Village in Niseko, Japan. The chalet sits in a quiet area surrounded by old and new ski lodges and next to a tranquil valley. The chalet is within a 10-15-minute walk of the closest ski lifts – or you can make the way by bus: the ski shuttle stop is just a few metres from the chalet. There are great restaurants and bars within a short walk of the chalet, including the famous Gyu+ Bar, aka the Fridge Door Bar.
