Kitadori in Niseko is a stylish 3-story chalet set against the gorgeous backdrop of Mt. Yotei. Located at the heart of the Niseko Ski Village in Japan’s Hokkaido prefecture, Kitadori is the perfect spot for a family ski holiday. While the property is designed to as much as possible preserve its unique natural surroundings, it is furnished with as much modern amenities as possible to ensure a comfortable stay for the guests.

Set on 300sq.meters, this family-friendly chalet is a perfect self-contained home. It has a children’s playroom, a media room, five spacious bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a fireplace. Kitadori also offers a premium concierge service that will provide a car and driver to take you anywhere within 30km of Hirafu. So if you want to go grocery-shopping in the nearby towns or need a ride to the ski lifts; take advantage of this service.

Kitadori is a luxurious, custom-furnished apartment with modern facilities. If you are staying indoors, there is access to free high-speed Wi-Fi, a TV and a DVD Player to keep you entertained. Alternatively, you can pick up a book from the library and curl up in front of the fireplace. Go skiing, explore the active nightlife, visit the local tourist haunts or simply explore the other parts of the beautiful Niseko!

Kitadori is a uniquely designed chalet with a simple elegance about it. The décor is minimal (as per the Japanese tradition) and is done in warm neutral colors. The prominent wooden finishing touches including wooden floors give the house a very natural feel. The stunning view of the mountain from the second and third floors enhances the property’s relaxed atmosphere. The availability of central heating ensures that the inside stays warm even on the coldest of days. At Kitadori, you genuinely feel like you are on a holiday!

The first floor houses a double garage unit, media room, maid room, the utility room and locker room for storage. The second floor has a library, two guest rooms, a bathroom, two bunkrooms, and a playroom situated opposite the bunkrooms. There is also a large outdoor terrace just off the guest rooms. On the third floor, you will find a large open living room, leading to a dining area and kitchen. On the opposite end of the hall is the master bedroom with a lavatory and a Japanese bath.

Living Room

Located on the third floor, Kitadori’s living room is large, comfortable and is fitted with plush couches. The large glass windows provide a magnificent view of the snow-peaked mountain. With its own fireplace, it is a perfect place for the entire family to unwind after a day on the ski-slopes. If you are looking to get away from everyone, you can use the balcony for some alone time while enjoying the view of the mountain.

Dining Room

The dining area and kitchen are next to the living room. The dining area has a beautiful wooden table and comfortable chairs, large enough for a family of 8 people. Enjoy a home-cooked meal while you gaze out of the large glass windows into the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape. The kitchen is a fully equipped western-style affair for ultimate comfort and convenience. You can also go grocery shopping in the nearby towns.

Media Room

The chalet has a media room, complete with an Apple TV with view-on-demand English channels and a DVD player. There is also a kids’ playroom to keep the little ones busy and a library for the readers.

Kitadori has five bedrooms. Two rooms have king-sized beds and one room has one single bed. The two remaining rooms have a set of bunk beds each.

Your stay is made enjoyable by the professional staff who have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly hospitality.

Villa Manager

The villa’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

Our villas in Japan often have housekeeping 1 – 2 times per week depending on the property. Each villa will have their own cleaning schedule.

Kitadori is located in the Escarpment Estate in the Lower Hirafu Village in Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan’s northern-most island prefecture, also popularly known as ‘the powder capital of the world’. The Hirafu village is Niseko’s main heartbeat, with easy access to the other ski villages of An’nupuri, Hanazono and Higashiyama. The apartment is 15 minutes away from the nearest convenience store; a 10-minute walk will take you to a host of restaurants, shops and bars. It is only a 15-minute walk to the ski lifts but you can choose to take the shuttle to the lifts instead. It is a 2.5 hour drive by car, bus or rail from New Chitose International Airport (CTS), Hokkaido’s main airport.
