Pelangi Estate stunning complex of luxury villas with three separate houses giving you the option of a 7 bedroom complex.

Pelangi Estate is comprised of a three villas – totaling 7 bedrooms. Situated in Ubud in Bali and built in the year 2011 this private-gated property is an excellent option for those who want to enjoy a perfect Balinese holiday. Pelangi Estate holds three villas and two swimming pools that are set on an acre of terraced land.

Four Bedroom Villa

The Villa Pelangi has been constructed in the most elaborate manner. Money has been well spent and lavishly and every detail has been well taken care of in designing the villa to the highest standards. There are 4 tiers of living space that easily mesh into the riverside gardens which in turn are placed in a strategic manner to bring out the best of the waterfall and the view of the rice fields. You can relax here in total comfort and enjoy the seasonal breezes which will cool and soothe you.

Each of the four bedrooms in Villa Pelangi is spacious and also very cosy. The lighting is soft and the draperies even softer. The linens are truly luxurious and the view through the folding glass doors is truly mesmerising. The main area of the villa can also be transformed to a spacious yoga room.

Two Bedroom Villa

Java Guest House has been built on two different levels. They have their own entrances and there is also a verandah / terrace, bathroom and integrated sleeping and living areas. The view from this villa is truly awesome. You will get an excellent view of the gardens, coconut palms and more from the Java Guest House.

On the lower level, there are two bedrooms called the Mango and Papaya bedrooms. Each faces the Wos river gorge and each is well furnished with large beds and both have a lounge area complete with desk as well as chairs. The house is air-conditioned and there is Wi-Fi internet as well as fans and there is also an iPod dock available for those who want to dock their iPods. The en-suite bathrooms are semi-open and have both rain and hand-held showers. The view from the bathroom of the river is also very awe inspiring.

On the first floor, you will find the main entrance and kitchen as well as a living, dining and media room. There is also an aqua bedroom and attached bathroom. To ascend and descend from the two levels you can make use of large sized stone steps. These steps are flanked by pillars made of antique teakwood and there is a koi pond that is located in front of the foyer.

When you step into the living room you will find that it has a sofa that is U-shaped and its placement ensures that guests have an excellent view of the rice terraces below. There is also an media lounge that lies adjacent to the living room. This lounge can be used for watching movies or just chilling out. In the dining area you will find a grand nine foot table that can accommodate up to fourteen guests. The view from the dining area of the gardens and rivers is truly panoramic. If you want to enjoy casual dining then you can do so in the breakfast room which lies next to the kitchen. Alternatively, you can dine casually at the poolside patio. There is room for four people in both these areas.

The living room is also filled with an open-air atrium which lets in an abundance of natural light. It also has Moroccan lamps that when switched on at night, they add a touch of true exoticism to the ambience of the place.

One Bedroom Villa

The Bhutan Cottage stands on its own and can easily accommodate two additional guests. The atmosphere inside the cottage is romantic. A stay here is going to be truly comfortable and privacy is assured.

In the Bhutan Cottage you will find the fifth bedroom. There is also a dedicated entrance to the cottage which winds down to the parking area and to the entry gate. This excellent yet quaint cottage is made from teakwood and it has intricate decorations and carvings. The three meter by four meter room has some cool Indonesian and Tibetan furnishings. The bedroom also has a desk and makeup table as well as chest of drawers and more. From the large size bed you can view the garden fountain and rice fields. The bedroom also has a large semi-open en-suite fully equipped bathroom. The Bhutan Cottage also has a safe and mini refrigerator as well as plates and glasses. There is also an intercom button in the bedroom which you can press when you want to call for an attendant.

The main villa (Villa Pelangi) has a sleeping loft and four bedrooms. The estate is made up of a two bedroom house called the Java Guest House and a single bedroom Bhutan Cottage. All three of these rental villas are spacious and well-appointed and they also have excellent open-air bathrooms. From each of the villas you can view the excellent Wos River gorge and its rice terraces in the stunning rainforest setting.

Villa Manager

Pelangi Estate’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.

Butlers

Butlers are on hand everyday to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout your stay.

Chef

For the catering needs you’re welcome to choose between self-catering accommodation; or order delicious and healthy meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner by menu (ordered in advance) and staff will deliver and serve in premises of each house: approximately US$ 3-15 per meal; or hire our professional chef to cater your every whim based on your personal dietary preferences (US$ 45 per day for groups of maximum 10 people, and US$ 75 per day for groups of 10-21 people for one chef and one cook). Breakfast time starts at 7 AM, and dinner serving time finish at 8 PM. Late service after 8 PM and till 11 PM will be charged as US$ 48 / day for 2 staff and 1 cook late hours or US$ 24 / day for 2 housekeeping staff only.
