Villa Maison Matisse offers a divine blend of modern-day luxury and timeless Balinese beauty. The exclusive property is hidden off from the rest of the world by a stunning silver gate. Upon arrival, guests will be greeted by a trickling fountain and a cascade of exotic flowers. The palatial villa faces the ocean, with its regal white architecture perfectly complementing the sacred trees shading the property. The striking glimmer of the ocean and the clear blue waters of the immense pool rival for guests’ undivided attention.

Living Room

The spacious villa offers ample room to lounge about and relax both indoors and outdoors. To get the best of both worlds, head on out to the open-plan terrace, where two plump sofas are simply waiting for you to dive in and stretch out for an after-swim nap or snuggle up with a buddy to catch upon the latest tropical gossip, all the while being treated to sweeping seaside views.

Dining Room

The massive dining table is big enough to seat up to 12 guests, giving you the perfect excuse to get into the kitchen and whip up a true tropical feast to wow the crowds with. The dining area shares the same fluid space with the wonderfully chilled-out living verandah, with a deliciously cooling breeze blowing in from the ocean. Whether you’re enjoying a royal feast or indulging in some light bites, the breathtaking ocean views will elevate any meal into a very fine dining experience!

Media Room

The lavish entertainment room adds a splash of colour to the villa’s sleek monochromatic design with vibrant orange tile floors and sky-blue walls. The room is decked out with satellite TV, a DVD player and a stereo system, making this the perfect rainy-day hideaway.

Garden & Pool

The gorgeous infinity pool will work its magic on guests of all ages – thanks the pool’s shallow end, even the little ones can splash around safely. The divine pool overflows to the river, with more water cascading in from three exquisite waterfalls. The pool is flanked by a spacious sundeck – but you might just prefer the platform which appears to be floating at the heart of the pool, furnished with lavish daybeds and a serene statue of the Buddha watching over you.

The dense forest surrounding the villa is nothing short of magical. Ancient sacred trees offer shade, while the gentle flow of the river provides a soothing natural soundtrack. Stroll through the green leaves and fragrant flowers and take a moment to appreciate the beauty of the Balinese temples tucked into to the lush green of the garden. After taking in all the beauty, rewind at the open-air chill out lounge covered with mattresses and piled high with plush pillows.

The magnificent villa houses five bedrooms throughout the sprawling property. Comfortably sleeping up to ten guests, the property also offers the option of accommodating two extra children upon request. Each of the rooms boasts a serene pale colour scheme with splashes of vibrant colour and striking artwork adding depth and sparking interest.

Villa Manager

Villa Maison Matisse’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.

Chef

The villa’s skilled private chef will happily prepare anything from the Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s suggestion menus, as well as discuss special requests and dietary requirements.

Security

It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. Additional security can also be arranged if the villa doesn’t include any in the daily rate.

Villa Maison Matisse is located in the peaceful fishing village of Pantai Seseh in Southwest Bali. The villa is hugged by vibrant green rice paddies, while the beautiful Seseh Beach lies mere minutes from you doorstep.

For a bit of sightseeing, take the five-minute drive over to Tanah Lot, the famous seaside temple rising dramatically from the waves. While the immediate surroundings of the villa will give you a soothing dose of local village life, go and enjoy the colourful scenes of Balinese spirituality around the area. The world-famous Echo Bach and its vibrant surf community are just a short beachside walk from the villa.
