SHIROKIN

Named after the ‘white gold’ that descends from above, Shirokin is designed for sports junkies, nature lovers and families.

Shirokin means ‘white gold’ and that is clearly not lacking when you look out the window of the chalet on a lovely winter’s night. The owners were enthralled by the quality of snow at Rusutsu and named the property after the powder descending from above.

The chalet is perfectly designed for sports junkies, nature lovers and families. In winter, powderhounds will relish in the deepest powder minus the Niseko crowds (Rusutsu powder is a local secret!), and in summer you can get your adrenalin fix at Hokkaido’s largest theme park nearby or take your best shot on the championship 72-hole golf course located a mere 800m from your doorstep. Where else would you rather be?

Shirokin reflects innocence and purity, with the colours used throughout the chalet a combination of white and light wood. The area is spacious and feels just like a home-away-from-home.

Living Room

The living area has a large black plush couch which makes it a perfect spot to herald in the family for an evening chat with a hot chocolate in hand. The second floor has a media/TV room that has a sofa bed which can also sleep up to 2 additional guests.

Dining Room

Mosey over to the dining area for dinner which sits up to eight. Ardent cooks will appreciate the western-style kitchen has all the modern appliances.

The four-bedroom chalet boasts 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms over two floors. It also has a sofa bed that can sleep additional two guests. The property has an authentic Japanese bath which makes it perfect to soak away the sore muscles after a day on the hills.

Your stay is made enjoyable by the professional staff who have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly hospitality.

Villa Manager

The villa’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

Our villas in Japan often have housekeeping 1 – 2 times per week depending on the property. Each villa will have their own cleaning schedule.

Shirokin is located in Rusutsu which is a 90-minute drive from Sapporo. It is 800 metres from the main base chairlift, and a mere walk (or few minute drive) to the golf course and theme park.
