Located in the quaint and picturesque locale just on the outskirts of St. Moritz Village, Silverfox is comfortably removed from the hustle and bustle of the main village. The ski lifts are approximately 800 meters from the house, which can be reached by a pleasant walk through the charming winter wonderland as well as by the Niseko United Shuttle service, which regularly stops on the road just below the property and is free with the All Mountain Pass. Guests can always opt to rent a car for the duration of their stay, which provides great flexibility and freedom to explore the surrounding areas.
The two-level property finished in a fitting combination of white and grey with a sloping roof has undoubtedly been designed specifically with winter getaways in mind. Tucked in the mountains of pristine white snow with towering mature trees cosily enveloping the property from above, it is a picture perfect post card. With two comfortably laid out bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living area, and a well thought through entrance and reception area that allows for easy gear change without spreading the snow all over the house, it is a comfortable, low maintenance accommodation for a family or two couple.

Silverfox living is minimalistic without compromising on the essential comforts and conveniences. Here, the accent is really on getting out of the house to enjoy the great Niseko outdoors, be it during the skiing season or beyond it in to the welcoming spring and lush green summer with its hiking, nature trails, and spectacular scenery.
Living space is accessed through the stairs leading up from the main entrance. The ground floor hallway, which serves as the changing area after a hard day’s skiing and allows its guests to leave all the gear at the front of the house without getting the house covered in snow.
The living room with its open-plan setup with tall, beamed ceiling finished in natural wood is spacious and filled with air. The L-shaped low-rise fabric sofa finished in soft maroon tones sits around a coffee table that fronts the corner unit housing a large flat screen TV with windows to either side opening up to the beautiful Niseko outdoors right outside.
Dining room is directly adjacent to the living area with a large dining table able to comfortably accommodate between six and seven guests separating it from the living room. The fully equipped kitchen comes with all the necessary appliances, including a cooker and a stove, a microwave oven, a toaster, and plenty of storage space for all the cooking supplies.
The chalet has two sleeping rooms, with the ensuite master bedroom occupying the large space upstairs, while the second bedroom sits on the ground floor of the property.
Master bedroom finished in appropriately dominant white seems like a natural extension of the great outdoors, dipping its toe inside the property, making you feel like you are sleeping under a deceptively warm blanket of snow.
The second sleeping room occupying the ground floor of the property is finished with equal stylish simplicity and although not fully en-suite the bathroom serving it sits just across the hall.
Your stay is made enjoyable by the professional staff who have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly hospitality.
The villa’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
Our villas in Japan often have housekeeping 1 – 2 times per week depending on the property. Each villa will have their own cleaning schedule.
Tucked away in a quiet corner just outside St. Moritz village, Silverfox’s cunning choice of location truly lives up to its name. Roaming in the snow covered forest, the property is easily accessibly on foot, Niseko United Shuttle or by car. Its intimate location immediately reminds of a fairy-tale location, sitting in the shadows of the towering Mt. Yotei in the background.
With a few cafes and restaurants sparingly doted around, the chalet has enough amenities to ensure that you are never cut off from outside world, although the less adventurous guests and those travelling with younger children would likely welcome having a hire car for the duration of the trip, taking the hassle out of reaching the ski lifts, the main village, and having the option of venturing further out to explore the nearby area. Altogether a relaxed and down to earth skiing chalet that remains true to its form all year round.
