Built in the most appealing area in stunning Wanaka, Sunrise Bay offers beautiful vistas of Lake Wanaka combined with cutting edge contemporary design and endless glass to maximise the views. Touches of solid walnut timber and rugger natural stone help to tie the property in with its stunning natural surroundings, with plenty of space to entertain both indoors and outdoors – spend your evenings relaxing by the designer fireplace or soak up the soothing ambiance of your open-air Jacuzzi. The villa has five well-appointed bedrooms and offers a prime locale just a five-minute drive from downtown Wanaka.

Sunrise Bay is a beautifully designed contemporary property, both inside and out. A generous use of full-wall glass allows for a constant stream of natural light, as well as providing sublime views of the lake. The rooms are light and spacious and come decorated with timeless furniture with a contemporary edge and fun pops of colour.

Living Room

The villa has a great open-flow layout where the living and dining areas connect fluidly while still providing distinct areas in which to relax and enjoy each other’s company. The living room is separated from the dining area by a stunning stone fireplace, with a generous grey sofa paired with a classic leather armchair and relaxed bright hued beanbags. For in-villa entertainment, the villa offers a cosy TV room with a large flatscreen TV and more comfy beanbags.

Dining Room

The dining room is a fluid extension of the living room next door, with a beautifully designed stone fireplace working as a divider between the two rooms. A round dining table sits at the centre of the room, looking out to the lake through full-wall glass. At the other end of the fluid space, you’ll discover the villa’s fully-equipped kitchen which follows the property’s sleek aesthetics perfectly. In milder weather, meals can also be set outside on the lake-facing terrace.

Garden

Sunrise Bay makes the most of its stunning natural surroundings by offering ample room for entertaining outdoors with spectacular views looking out to Lake Wanaka and the mountain range. The lake-facing deck features a relaxed outdoor dining area flanked by a luxuriant open-air Jacuzzi. The outdoor areas also include a fireplace and in-built speakers.

Sunrise Bay has five bedrooms. Three rooms have king-sized beds – one of these can also be set up as two singles if needed. The two remaining rooms have queen beds. The bedrooms have fresh modern décor and generous windows allowing for ample natural light.
