The villa boasts three tiered swimming pools and luxurious design created by architect Riccardo Tossani. Akatsuki is the Japanese word for daybreak and the villa’s design draws subtle inspiration from the Land of the Rising Sun. Villa Akatsuki is the ultimate beachside hideaway, offering a paradise stretch of pure white sand and turquoise waters far away from the crowds. Villa Akatsuki Living
Villa Akatsuksi is an absolute beachfront villa with direct access to the tranquil Lipa Noi Beach. The villa offers unapologetic luxury with three swimming pools and cutting edge design inspired by Japan.
Living Room
The living pavilion houses sofas and cabanas with jewel-tone pillows and a large flatscreen TV for entertainment. The villa also has a huge atrium which can host weddings, yoga classes and other events.
Dining Room
The dining pavilion offers views of the beach, pool and gardens and offers room for 8-10 guests. The villa also features a fully equipped western kitchen with thoughtful extras such as the coffee maker, wide tea selection and Japanese shaved ice cream maker.
Media Room
The media room has a 65-inch TV screen and state of the art surround sound. Both Apple TV and a DVD player and DVD library are available for guests’ use. The room also doubles as an office or meeting space and enables printing, copying and faxing.
Gym
Guests have 24-hour access to a fully equipped gym which features state of the art equipment including treadmills, exercise bike, Cable Motion Gym System, dumbbells, gym balls and yoga matts.
Spa
The villa includes a spa room with two massage beds and a Jacuzzi tub.

Villa Akatsuki has a whopping three swimming pools. The main pool sits closest to the beach. One of the pools is a shallow wading pool perfect for the kids. The poolside area is dotted with sun loungers and parasols with direct access to the beach. There’s also an area for alfresco dining.

First rate villa with exemplary service
Renting villas via the internet can sometime be hit and miss. Reviews are useful but different people have differing expectations and one persons 5 star is another person 2. The combination of a quieter west coast location and the clear Japanese influenced aesthetic were what attracted us to this property initially. The property and the service did not disappoint, Kuhn Jack and Nina run a very effective operation, succeeding in being highly attentive but not intrusive. The food was exceptional, so much so that prior restaurant reservations were hastily cancelled to allow us to gorge on Em’s fine Thai fare. The 2 kgs that I accumulated in 8 days attested to its quality and quantity! I looked hard to find fault with this package and failed. Highly recommended.

We came all the way from the US and are thrilled that we did. Villa Akatsuki is defined architecturally by its gorgeous, sleek Japanese aesthetic right on a lovely beach. But it’s true magic comes from the 7-star service delivered by Kuhn Jack and the team. The food is off-the-charts good. An outstanding gym and spa on property. No shortage of activities can be done from the beach or on the property (we did fishing, yoga, paddle-boarding, tubing, snorkeling, island hopping, and more). Your only regret might be taking excursions off the property… you only want to come back! You will feel like royalty during your stay.

This place is way better in real life than what it looks like on the website.
The Japanese design is just perfect for this style of villa. There is a certain tranquility that embraces you and it is the best holiday break we have ever had. All the facilities are six star and the villa is immaculately maintained. The pool and the beach area I just incredible and you can spend hours in the water. We had a sit down dinner for 32 people on the front lawn and it was memorable.
The food was first class and the fairy lights and flowers just added a special touch for a special function. The staff are incredibly helpful and cannot do enough for one. They are incredibly helpful and cannot do enough for one. The chef Em is wonderful and the food is fine dining all the way. The manager Jack cannot do enough for one and is just a lovely human being. His main assistant Nina and the rest of the crew are absolutely amazing too. Even the massages were the best ever. We have no criticism of any sort. Just special.

Luxury R&R at its best
The property itself was wonderful. We were a large group of 15 adults with one baby. The property manager, Jack, was the best host that we can possibly ask for. All our requests, no matter how ridiculous or absurd, was always met or at least addressed.
The food at the villa is most likely the best in the entire island of Koh Samui. We were adventurous and seeked out 2 other highly rated dining establishment in Samui. And both times, we regretted our decision to dine out, eating in would have been a much better experience.
Resort was able to arrange for in-house masseuse, yoga classes, and a variety of fitness classes such as bootcamp, cross-fit and muay thai. The teacher is excellent, everyone had no complaints.

For our annual boys trip our requirements were simple – “Luxury, Privacy & Beach” and Villa Akatsuki delivered us all the above three.
We were picked up by the manager jack from the airport and we reached the villa after a drive about 45 min and were warmly welcomed by the entire staff of 8, we were simply blown away by breathtaking architecture of Villa Akatsuki as we step into this elegant Thai villa which is located on beachfront and offers a full panoramic view of enchanting Lipa Noi bay.
The villa has all sorts of modern amenities including a theatre room, television, surround sound system, spacious atrium area, infinity pool, the beach in front of the villa the water is also very shallow, perfect for a lazy swim with lot of privacy.
The MAIN highlight of the villa is amazing staff including villa manager Jack, Asst Manager Ning, we had amazing breakfast out door daily & one evening has an amazing barbecue cooked by chef Yada and not to forget house keeper who made our laundry daily thus making our stay at Villa Akatsuki a memorable one.
Villa Akatsuki is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the ocean’s breeze & forget all the worries of this world & feel how blessed you are to enjoy this amazing villa.

Our stay in Akatsuki!
My family celebrated my sister’s 50th birthday at this resort. It is a resort which is lapped in luxury, we have the place to ourselves!! So it felt like a “home away from home”. From the time we arrived into the airport, we were welcomed by Jack, the manager and were whisked into a large comfortable van to the place. Once we arrived, the thai hospitality was just so well received by all of us. The rooms are comfortable and designed with a lot of wood and influenced by japanese arcitecture! The only weakness i can think of was probably one or 2 rooms which did not have the beach facing and they could improve on the ventilation of the rooms.
The food cooked by the thai chef was ever so delicious and every day, we could request and discuss with Jack on what we liked to have in our meals! It really felt like as if we had a high class butler at home! He organised for us the outdoor activities which included hiring our own boat to go fishing, kayaking and the night market. We were there for 3 nights and it felt it was not enough! Jack also organised the birthday dinner and the dinner table was nicely and tastefully decorated and we ended the evening with lighting up the famous thai white lanterns into the sky! I would definitely recommend this place and love to go back there again!
