Villa Ku Besar is built around a massive 24-metre swimming pool and features an impressive open-plan lounge with a sleek bar and a fabulously styled dining room. The five bedrooms are fitted with butter soft linen and adjoined by tropical semi-open bathrooms. If you’re travelling with a bigger group, Villa Ku Besar can be booked together with sister property Villa Ku Tama to create up to eight bedrooms in one of the best locations in Seminyak.

Life at Villa Ku Besar flows effortlessly between indoor and outdoor spaces, with many an hour spent simply soaking up the rays by the statement swimming pool. The interiors have a beautiful bohemian quality to them, with a whole lot of Balinese charm visible in the details. Even the parasols by the pool are modelled after traditional temple umbrellas.

Living Room

Villa Ku Besar’s grand main pavilion has a breezy open-sided layout typical to the tropics, allowing guests to gaze at the pool while lounging on the large white sofa hugging a timber coffee table in a generous L-shape. Some extra glamour is injected by the bar built to the side of the room – perfect for a round of cocktails before dinner is served. The bar offers a hidden surprise: a 75-inch TV built to the wall, equipped with satellite channels, Apple TV and a DVD player. Take your pick!

Dining Room

Located behind the living room, Villa Ku Besar’s dining table is a real statement piece crafted from a single slab of rugged natural wood. The table is surrounded by 10 bar stools adding a modern twist to the space. The room is adorned with art and antiques introducing some Balinese spirit to mealtimes.

Gym

Tucked to the back of the garden, Villa Ku Besar’s air-conditioned gym is lined with glass walls and equipped with cardio and weights machines.

Garden & Pool

Villa Ku Besar is built around a glorious 24-metre long swimming pool – this is one of the largest private villa pools in Seminyak! The spacious pool is perfect for clocking some serious laps in, with lazy sun loungers and a romantic bale gazebo offering a choice between sun and shaded when you need a breather. The tropical gardens hugging the villa offer a beautiful introduction to Bali’s eternal summer.

Villa Ku Besar has five bedrooms, all furnished with a king-sized bed and adjoined by an ensuite bathroom. Three bedrooms are located in the same poolside pavilion and two bedrooms are located in a pavilion situated to the back of the garden.

Villa Ku Besar is a five-bedroom villa that’s divided into three pavilions. The main building houses the living and dining areas and the kitchen. The second pavilion houses three bedrooms in a single line. The third pavilion is discretely hidden in the garden, housing the two remaining bedrooms. Villa Ku Besar has a 24 x 3 metre swimming pool. Villa Ku Besar is part of The Villas Ku estate with three-bedroom Villa Ku Tama. The two villas can be booked together to create up to eight bedrooms.

Villa Manager

Villa Ku Besar’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.

Butlers

Butlers are on hand 24 hours a day to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout the day.

Chef

The villa’s skilled private chef will happily prepare anything from the Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s suggestion menus, as well as discuss special requests and dietary requirements.

Security

It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. Additional security can also be arranged if the villa doesn’t include any in the daily rate.

Villa Ku Besar is located in the vibrant Seminyak neighbourhood in Bali, Indonesia. The villa is tucked in a peaceful side street off Jalan Drupadi which in turns connects you to Seminyak’s famous Eat Street. This means you’ll find many of Bali’s best restaurants and boutiques within easy walking distance – the walk over to Eat Street takes about 10 minutes, though there are great restaurants even closer by, including Zibiru, Kilo and Lacalaca. The iconic Ku De Ta beach club is about 20 minutes if you feel like a walk in the tropical weather and due to traffic, the trip takes about the same time in an air-conditioned taxi. If you’re lucky, you can reach Gado Gado Beach in less than 10 minutes by car.
