Villa Leha Leha translates to “empty your mind” in Javanese, and this very private getaway ensures relaxation to daydream to your hearts content.

Nestled in a small valley running along the sacred Ayung River, this cherished private oasis is clean and beautiful with furnishings flush with colour. You’ll feel like you are in your home away from home, complete with photographs on the walls adding unique personality and character.

Leha Leha translated from Javanese literally means being empty minded while gazing at the sky – and this quite beautifully sums the experience staying at this secluded property.

Villa Leha Leha accentuates the pure nature of Bali with the magnificent tropical and jungle-like gardens that act as a curtain around the property. As the water from the Ayung River trickles down alongside the villa, the peaceful ambience creates a sense of serenity as if you’re on your own private island.

Living Room

To assist you in your daydreaming there is a plethora of cushioned lounging spots, most of which are found in the airy, open-concept living pavilions – one on the ground floor and the other upstairs.

The downstairs is an open living room that is encompassed by tranquil fish ponds and an engaging deck made of timber. This raised pavilion presides over the garden and pool and has marble floors furnished with an Oriental deigned rug, sofa, lamps and lazy chairs. The décor is further enhanced by the colourful local artwork. The ceiling fan keeps the area cool while the blinds can be lowered for added privacy. There is also a guest washroom just off the living area.

The lounge upstairs can be accessed from the dining room, leading you though a Palimanan stone stairs. This is also an open air space, featuring teakwood flooring and soaring thatched roof. The perfect area to snuggle in with a book, it is furnished with opium daybeds, an Oriental rug and two leather chairs boasting their own magnificent views of the garden and river valley that extends to the ocean.

Dining Room

The air-conditioned dining room seats eight, and with large glass sliding doors on its sides the room exudes an open and spacious feeling. With two sets of Palimanan stone steps and marble floors the villa dining room has a traditional touch with wooden furnishings throughout.

Garden & Pool

Surrounded by tropical gardens, Villa Leha Leha offers picturesque views over an abundance of lush greenery. Soak in the beautiful Balinese weather while relaxing on the sun lounges. If you find yourself getting too hot, Villa Leha Leha provides a large serene swimming pool that is perfect for getting refreshed throughout the day. Swim over to the pool bar to grab a drink for some additional refreshment when desired!

Office

Separating the upstairs lounge from the study room is an impressive all-glass Cathedral window that extends from the floor all the way up to the roof. A bookshelf full of magazines, comfortable leather chairs and a teak desk with a computer makes this room the quintessential place should you want some private time to read or to get some work done (not recommended – you are on holiday sky-gazing remember!).

The villa sleeps a total of eight in four lovely suites that are detached from the main villa and in private thatched pavilions. Two of the rooms have their very own private plunge pools.

Each room is furnished with marble flooring and a queen size canopy bed, giving you a sense of palatial living. Beyond the dressing areas and fitted cupboards you will find the ensuite bathrooms featuring twin washbasins, an indoor shower, toilet and a bathtub. With doors leading out to a private wall gardens and open-air showers, Villa Leha Leha provides an alfresco experience while you pamper yourself.

Villa Manager

Villa Leha Leha’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.

Butlers

Butlers are on hand everyday to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout your stay.

Chauffeur

A chauffeur will provide you with the ultimate experience! A car and driver can be a great way to explore you holiday destination. Villa rates include complimentary car and driver on stand-by for up to eight hours of complimentary guest use (excluding petrol).

Security

It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. Villa Lehaleha provides night security.

Villa Leha Leha is truly a private getaway. It sits on the edge of a steep valley below which the Ayung River flows freely. The property is neighboured by other homes but only their roofs are visible through the thick green vegetation.

The atmosphere is very nicely chilled and rural, with the Sindhu beach and Sanur town within a 10-minute drive, and Ubud iwithin a 30-minute journey.
