Villa Portsea is a lovely white villa nestled in a terrific location just off trendy Jalan Petitenget in Petitenget, Bali. The villa features two spacious bedrooms, living areas spread over two floors and this being tropical Bali, there’s naturally a sparkling private pool waiting outside. You’ll find some of Bali’s best restaurants and beach clubs, including Metis, Sarong and Potato Head Beach Club within walking distance from the villa. Villa Portsea was built by an Australian couple who’ve been visiting Bali for more than 20 years and built Villa Portsea to meet their own expectations of that perfect holiday villa.

Villa Portsea Living
Villa Portsea captures the ease of villa living by offering a private oasis in the heart of the action. The villa is surrounded by great dining options and shopping, but within the villa’s high walls, you get to enjoy absolute peace and quiet while relaxing by the pool or watching movies in the upstairs TV lounge.
Living Room
Located between the two bedrooms is Villa Portsea’s enclosed living area which incorporates a seating area, dining table and kitchen. If you prefer, you can also open the bi-fold doors to create an open-plan alfresco lounge. The staircase next to the kitchen leads you to the upper-floor TV lounge. Next to the TV room is a rooftop terrace that looks over the pool area below. The second level also has a bathroom.
Dining Room
Villa Portsea’s indoor dining table can seat up to six guests and is followed by a well-equipped kitchen.
Garden & Pool
Villa Portsea includes a private L-shaped swimming pool with a 60-centimetre-deep wading section for the kids (also great for sipping cocktails or reading a book while submerged in the pool.) You can catch some rays on the adjoining sun beds in complete privacy, as unlike many villas in the area, Villa Portsea is not overlooked by any neighbouring building.
Villa Portsea Bedrooms
Villa Portsea has two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a super-king-sized bed and the guest bedroom has two single beds that can also be set up as a king-sized bed if needed. The bedrooms are located opposite each other next to the pool. One extra bed is available against an added fee.

Villa Portsea Layout
Villa Portsea is a two-bedroom villa that’s built over two floors. The ground floor includes the living and dining room which is flanked by a bedroom on either side. There is an air-conditioned TV room and a furnished balcony up on the first floor.
Villa Portsea Staff
Your stay in Villa Portsea is made enjoyable by the professional staff. Villa Portsea’s staff have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly Balinese hospitality.
Villa Manager
Villa Portsea’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
Housekeeping
You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family. Housekeeping is available between 7am – 6pm.
Chef
Villa Portsea does not have a chef included in the daily rates, but one can be arranged at an additional fee. The chef is priced at USD $35 per cooking and the cost of groceries will be charged at guests’ account with no additional mark up.
Security
Villa Portsea includes night time security between 7pm – 8am.
Villa Portsea Location
Villa Portsea is in Petitenget, Bali. The villa is located on a side lane just off Jalan Batubelig. This is great news for foodies, as this trendy street is lined with some of the best restaurants in Bali. You’ll find sought-after venues like Jemme, Kynd Community, Metis and countless others within a 10-minute stroll from the villa. Potato Head Beach Club and The W can also be reached on foot. Petitenget Beach is about 15 minutes away on foot or just five minutes by car or motorbike. Villa Portsea is located about 30 minutes from the airport.

Villa Portsea was an absolute treat ! Perfect size and location in Seminyak. We had the best time in Bali and felt safe at all times in the villa. The maid is so very kind and will do everything and anything to ensure you’re comfortable. The pool was amazing and was always cleaned every day or so. We had the best time and would highly recommend this villa to anyone visiting Bali !!!

My husband and I had a wonderfully relaxing week at Villa Portsea. Made was an absolute delight and we were able to co-ordinate with her the time she would be at the villa so we could enjoy complete privacy most of the time. Fantastic location, and even though we always have a scooter to get around, on many occasions we would walk. All of the downstairs area is well set out and very usable (especially the pool), but we found the upstairs area unusable as the sliding doors were very difficult to open and even more difficult to close, so after one attempt, we just avoided the area altogether, which is a shame as it could be a lovely area to sit to watch the sunset, if there was a table and chairs outside (and the doors would easily open and close).
We would highly recommend this villa!

We had the most amazing stay here. It was our first time travelling to Bali and we would not want to stay anywhere else but Villa Portsea. The villa was absolutely beautiful and had everything you would need and to make it better it was central to all the best restaurants and bars. The service we recieved from Made was also outstanding. Not only was she lovely but she was able to help us out with any requirements. It was very convenient that we could book travel, laundry and massages all through the villa. As a group of girls it was very comforting to have a security guard who was watching out for us when we left and returned late at night. Thank you so much for a great stay – we only have great things to say!!!

Villa Portsea was absolutely amazing!!
Just perfect for our anniversary getaway. It has everything you could think of (apart from table and chairs on the balcony) and we couldnt be happier. Close to everything we needed and even had people come to the villa to give us massages. The pool is large and beds comfortable… honestly it was more than what we’d hoped.
We will be back next time to stay with our kids!!

We arrived late on the Monday night to be greeted by this beautiful villa. Everything the photos show are true. We couldn’t have been more thrilled. Conveniently located within Seminyak. It was an oasis away from the busy going on’s that come with travelling around Bali. Great place to relax and get away from it all. All the conveniences are at your door step including great restaurants and convenience stores.
Made, our maid, was available all day and couldn’t have been more fantastic. Friendly and so very helpful. She took great care of us and made our visit that more memorable.

“Private Oasis”
My advice to travelers wishing to visit Seminyak: Find a great villa/hotel and don’t bother leaving (unless you get hungry and need to eat, in which case, there are plenty of good restaurants). Portsea Villa is everything you need whilst visiting Seminyak. It is close to some great restaurants (Sarong etc) and is just off the main drag. There is also a convenience store at the end of the laneway so you can stock up on drinks/snacks to keep you going throughout the day.
Made, our maid, was wonderful and will look after you. Can’t really ask for much more. The quality of the sit-out was high-end and the pool was always in pristine condition. Big thumbs up!!
