The villa features two living areas, both located on the villa’s upper floor which also works as your entry way to the villa. The first living room is classic and Balinese in its design, while the other is a more modern space.

Villa Sasih Karo is a three-bedroom villa split between 3 floors. The living areas are located upstairs on the entrance level. There are three bedrooms on the floor below. The villa has a private swimming pool surrounded by a sun deck and tropical gardens.

Villa Sasih Karo is located in the stunning region of Tegalalang, just outside the spiritual hub of Ubud in Bali, Indonesia. Tegalalang is known for its stunning rice fields, with the most iconic paddies waiting just a short drive from the villa. The centre of Ubud is about 15-20 minutes away by car and offers a seemingly endless selection of restaurants, cafes, galleries, yoga studios and Balinese temples to explore.

Relaxing retreat
We stayed here for a week for our honeymoon. We had a fantastic time. It was so relaxing and quiet, clean, beautiful pool area, delicious breakfast, excellent service, and lovely room (including stunning semi-outdoor bathroom).
We had a great massage there too. When we arrived our room had been decorated in flowers and we were warmly greeted by staff. It is about a 20 minute scooter ride from Ubud which meant it was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of town. Highly recommended.

Wow, where to begin?! We cannot thank Mr Daniel and Ibu Erna enough for their outstanding hospitality during our 4 days at the retreat. Each and every moment of every day they went completely above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and memorable, which it most certainly was.

A home from home
My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Ubud and got far more than we expected! The owner is the loveliest man and went above and beyond for ourselves and his other guests. We planned to visit the popular rice terraces during our stay and he kindly took ourselves and another couple on a fantastic tour around the rice terraces, temples and parts of Ubud that we’d never have seen had we have gone alone. He had an obvious passion for Bali and made our Ubud experience that bit better, teaching us all sorts of interesting things about Bali.
The staff at the hotel were brilliant, so attentive. The manager in particular made us feel so welcome and even made us a little take away breakfast as our flight was very early the morning we checked out. Customer service at its finest.
The hotel itself is very private & peaceful, set a little bit out of central Ubud, but only a 15 minute ride on a moped. The hotel is exactly how it appears in the photos online and I assure you you won’t be disappointed. If you’re looking for a relaxing, quiet stay, this hotel is perfect for you!

Great small villa for quite luxurious getaway
This is an excellent fully renovated small villa with large bedrooms and living areas. Loved the large outside tile bathroom with shower that is very private adjacent to master bedroom. The flower arrangements and natural vegetation throughout the villa really made the place feel peaceful and tranquil.
The location of the villa is about 7 Kilometers from Ubud located down the street from a traditional Bali village. You are right near the rice paddi fields and really feel you are experiencing the Bali culture and lifestyle.
The owner, Daniel, was a great host along with his staff. He went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our stay.
The price for the stay was very reasonable and affordable.
