Villa Tjitrap is a beautiful marriage of elements drawn from the owners’ uniquely cosmopolitan background. Part classic plantation house, part Singaporean mansion and 100% beautiful, Villa Tjitrap is an amazing retreat hidden in the heart of Bali’s most sought after neighbourhood.
Living Room
Villa Tjitrap includes two separate living areas. Sharing an open floor plan with the dining space and kitchen, the indoor living area sits just in front of an impressive fountain and Buddhist garden. Nearby, the outdoor living area sits beneath vaulted ceilings and open to the pool just steps away.
Dining Room
Villa Tjitrap’s beautifully carved 14-seater dining table is flanked by the Buddhist indoor garden, embracing the feeling of an old plantation house with its high-ceilings and tropical atmosphere. The dining area is followed by a fully equipped kitchen.
Media Room
Villa Tjitrap has a modern media room located up on the first floor. With a comfortable L-shaped sofa and a flatscreen TV, this is the perfect space for hosting a movie night with friends and family.

Villa Tjitrap has a huge swimming pool surrounded by a wooden deck with sun loungers shaded by palm trees. There is a shaded bale with soft cushions by the pool – an ideal spot for enjoying an après-swim nap.

Your stay in Villa Tjitrap is made enjoyable by the professional staff. Villa Tjitrap’s staff have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly Balinese hospitality.
Villa Manager
Villa Tjitrap’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
Housekeeping
You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.
Butlers
Butlers are on hand everyday to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout your stay.
Security
It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. Additional security can also be arranged if the villa doesn’t include any in the daily rate.
Location
Villa Tjitrap is in Seminyak, Bali. The villa has a terrific location just off Jalan Drupadi where you’ll find great restaurants like Zibiru and Raffs within a five-minute walk. The dining options lining Eat Streets are also just 10 minutes away on foot. Gado Gado Beach is also about 10 minutes away on foot and offers the perfect setting for enjoying one of Bali’s famous sunsets with a cold drink in hand. Villa Tjitrap is located about 40 minutes from the airport.

We had an unforgettable stay at Villa Tjitrap. The villa combines modern luxury with traditional Balinese architecture, creating peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Its spacious layout, including a huge pool and lush gardens, provided ample space for our group to unwind. It was nice and close to everything we wanted to see and do in and around Seminyak, and then when you return to the villa you feel like you’re a million miles away. The beautiful dining area lighting design added to the villa’s charm. Spending time in the villa’s media room playing PlayStation with my friends was also a great experience. To top it off, we indulged in a delicious dinner prepared by Villa Tjitrap’s chef, consisting of chicken curry, fried rice, and sautéed vegetables.

Bigger really is better! ;) I love the sheer size of the property – the huge pool, gorgeous seating area outside, the massive TV (I showed the younger generation how to master the PlayStation one night, an accidental highlight of our stay) but most of all I loved being spoiled by the loving team who are just so kind, so generous and wonderful. We had such an amazing time, I highly recommend staying here – you’ll love it too!

We loved Villa Tjitrap. The villa was big enough for our family, with everyone enjoying our time together, as well as our quiet time apart. The pool and grounds were fantastic and the layout and design and finishes of the house were magnificent.
To top it all off, the staff were amazing, so friendly and helped with everything, and they kept the villa so clean even with 4 young boys running around!
The TV room hosted us streaming the AFL footy, so the wifi was great. Another bonus was the private road leading to the villa so it felt very safe.

Awesome Villa – Awesome Family Holiday
We had an awesome time at Villa Tjitrap recently in July 2022. It was great to finally get away on a family holiday after 2 years of lockdowns! The villa was huge, and easily accommodated all 9 of us, with varying needs. There was enough to keep our 4 young boys busy, and still plenty of room for other family members to find their own quiet relaxing space. The layout and design are amazing, and the pool and grounds were incredible. And all meticulously maintained and cleaned by such friendly staff, who were always available to help with all our needs. We had the pleasure of staying at this gorgeous villa for a week in October 2019. The garden, the rooms, the exterior, the location, the staff.. all was exceeding our high expectations. The villa is open and airy, and incredibly spacious. They arranged a very sturdy pool fence which made us relax with our young toddler not being able to reach the pool. The staff made the trip even more incredible. Despite having two sick kids and the husband leaving for work mid-week, the villa and its staff still made me have an amazing holiday. Oh and loved the abundance of magazines all over the house; perfect for relaxed holiday reading. We’ll be back for sure!

Beautiful gardens, beautiful staff. The location was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. We had a large group, 14 people, and the villa was the perfect size. What word would you be looking for surpassing ´Amazing´, ´OMG` or ´Royal`? I would go for Imperial. All raving reviews are right. This is five star as we want it to be (but are often disappointed). Here is why: The staff is outstanding under the guidance of überfriendly Wayan. They will go out of their way to accomodate any request and have sound advice. The lay out of the villa is very well thought through. That includes the office. All of us are digital nomads and have to get some work done form time to time. Its great when the kids can than relax in the av room (the climate and the pool are exhausting). To maintain is not an Indonesian verb as we know. It’s obvious the Dutch owners visit often with their family and have very high standards. The place is imacculate. Every knob you turn, every button you push, it does what it is supposed to do. Nothing is broken, dirty, dilapidated or worn. All in pristine condition. The garden is immaculate with squirrels frollicking. While breakfast is included, all other meals, snacks and drinks can be had at very reasonable prices (purchase + mark-up) if ordered in advance and of similar high quality. Location, location. True, Seminyak is more popular by the year and getting around can be a nuisance. Tjitrap is smack in the middle on a very quiet cul de sac. While Jalan Oberoi is only a 10 minute walk, Wayan will gladly arrange transport, including rental motorbikes which are a great way to get around. We all claim it’s not, but price does matter. With a group of 12, do the math, it is very good value. Downside? It’s probably booked in the period you want to go. Rumour has it though, that the same owners have two more villas under construction. Can’t wait.

“Stunning Backdrop For Holiday and Wedding”
We booked Villa Tjitrap based purely on photos about 11 months prior to our stay. When we arrived, it was everyting we expected and more! The booking process was easy through Theo the owner and upon arrival we were taken care of in every way possible by the staff.
The villa is spectacular – the decor is beautiful and the rooms are very luxurious. We had three generations staying (including an 8 and 10 year old) and everyone loved it. Breakfast was served daily according to our requests and nothing was ever too much trouble for the staff to take care of or help us with. The villa was spotlessly clean at all times.
We had our wedding in the villa and the staff did everything they could to help and make it easy and memorable. It looks stunning in our wedding photos and will certainly be memorable for us and our wedding guests.
The location is really close to the main eat street of Seminyak (walking distance).

“Fantastic Stay”
We had my birthday celebration in Villa Tjitrap and a 7 day stay which was not long enough. It is amazing to find such a large villa in a great location of central Seminyak. We had a party of 13 stay here and had heaps of room.
The villa is immaculately maintained with beautiful gardens and orchids. The pool is amazing and so large for the location sparkling clean and we spent many hours around this area. Plenty of nice shady spots to enjoy.
Breakfast is included with lots of choices so made very easy for our large group. We had a Babi Guling banquet for my birthday for 17 people which was easily accommodated for us all together on the large table. It was the best meal we had in Bali and the staff served us and really looked after us.
Thank you to manager Wayan and all the staff, we felt truly blessed to have the good fortune of staying in Villa Tjitrap. We really hope to return soon!

“Magnificent Villa with Beautiful friendly efficient staff”
From the moment we stepped in the front gate we were very impressed with the Villa and surroundings. The staff were very welcoming and efficient. The villa was gorgeous, private and peaceful.
Whilst the facilities were magnificent what made the holiday so relaxing and enjoyable was Wayan and the staff. Wayan was exceedingly helpful with bookings and providing local insight. The remainder of the staff Comang Kadet etc provided outstanding service with breakfast and keeping the villa and our rooms in pristine condition.
Our children loved Wayan and all the staff were excellent with the kids.
Coming from a service based industry we would be very grateful to have staff in our employ who exude the level of service, attention and friendliness the staff exhibited and would gladly recommend these beautiful facilities to anyone looking to holiday in Bali.

“One of The Best Stays We Have Had As a Family!”
The best thing about this villa is definitely the staff – and then of course the amazing property. The staff are some of the nicest and most obliging people we have met. Nothing was a problem when organising days out, massages in-house or restaurants to eat at. We were nervous about booking a villa online however, this villa was better than it looks online.
On arrival we were treated to pineapple drinks, cool towels and snacks. After a long flight it was all just so relaxing! We were treated so well by all the staff throughout the stay that it was sad when we left. we will miss the amazing breakfasts every morning and that wonderful pool. We used every bedroom and every room was as great as the next so it didn’t matter who had which room!! We will stay again for sure (if only to see the staff again!!)

“Idyllic Setting For a Reunion with Friends”
We had the most wonderful stay at Villa Tjitrap. This beautifully styled villa has been well equipped with all we needed to provide an exceptionally comfortable 5 day stay as a group of friends. We loved the outdoor bathrooms and the open plan living areas which flowed onto the tranquility of the outdoors, the large swimming pool and the well maintained and lush garden surrounds.
The villa manager Wayan and all the staff were super lovely and very attentive seeing to our every need whether it was recommending and taking care of our dinner reservations, our transport arrangements and even arranging for a team of massage therapists to come to the villa, without ever imposing.
The complimentary full breakfast which was made to order each morning and the transfer to and from the villa were welcome benefits. We needed for nothing as every little detail had been thought of and provided for and we felt very sad to leave when our time came to an end. All the more reason to be back with our families for sure. Villa Tjitrap surpassed our expectations and we could not recommend it more highly.

“Amazing Villa with Great Staff”

“The Finest Property in Seminyak”
Villa Tjitrap is not just a home from home but a luxury resort in the heart of Seminyak. From the moment we arrived until after* we departed, we were cared for like Royals in a Palace. (*we even left some belongings behind which were delivered back to us!)
Villa Tjitrap offers a haven and sanctuary from the hustle of Seminyak. Which is more than we could have wished for. We wanted to be near the restaurants, shops and nightlife scene. Also being able to retire (and sometimes take a few friends back to continue the festivities) made is really feel at home.
The staff are phenomenal, always two steps ahead and trained to a silver service standard that simply doesn’t exist in luxury hotels anymore. The property is modern and super clean – and still incorporates a classic timeless Balinese style too. Indoor/Outdoor Living perfectly balanced.
Anyway, I miss it every day and can’t wait to return! Don’t waste your time – just book it.

“The Perfect Family Villa – Fun, Sun & Entertainment”
The location is amazing, right near eat street and minutes away from the beach. The staff are extremely friendly, and nothing is ever an issue. This is a great family-friendly villa with an amazing pool, entertaining area, and accommodation. Was able to even fit in a Business Meeting via Skype in the well equipped office.
Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great family get away with a couple of families. We will visit again.

“Absolutely Amazing!”
We absolutely loved our stay. Villa Tjitrap is so luxurious, it truely feels like home. As soon as you walk through the entrance you feel like you are in a different world. Tjitrap is run by top management and the staff were helpful and accomodating. Tjitrap was kept very clean and the pool was a perfect temperature to cool down. The kitchen and dining area is very welcoming with great acoustics, the dining table is perfect for a sociable meal with family or friends. The breakfasts each morning was scrumptious.
All the rooms were large with their own stunning bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable. The location of the Tjitrap is perfect, we love walking so it was walking distance to all of our favourite places in Seminyak. Villa Tjitrap is hands down the best Villa in Bali we have ever stayed, we look forward to coming back with another group of friends or family.
We had a small family wedding at Tjitrap and it was so perfect, Tjitrap is so beautiful that you do not need decorations as the house itself is a masterpiece. The Villa staff made our day so special and it will forever be remembered.
