Villa Tantangan 3-bedroom villa in Bali faces south giving you a panoramic view of the sea and Nyanyi Beach with a cool beach vibe.

Villa Tantangan three bedroom villa is located on elevated headland overlooking the Indian Ocean. The villa faces south giving you a panoramic view of the sea and Nyanyi Beach. To the east, the land is bordered by Tantangan River with bountiful bird and wildlife. To the north, views of the paddies and on the horizon, the majestic volcanoes of central Bali. It’s truly spectacular early in the morning with the sun rise. Accessed by car from the village of Beraban in Seseh by a 3km path through paddy fields you will be blown away by Villa Tantangan and how stunning this villa is.

Villa Tantangan is also unique because it is, to our knowledge, the first villa in Bali of this size to be completely off the grid. They are producing our own electricity primarily through solar panels. The house has been designed by the architect to minimise its energy consumption. For example, the living area is completely open to help natural ventilation and the flat roofs have been planted with shrubs for heat insulation.

Living Room

The living and dining area is an open area giving you the best views of the sea, the beach and the garden. It also allows the air to circulate freely. It covers an area of 72 sqm and extends into a large decking leading to the pool.

Dining Room

The dining area has a large wooden dining table which comfortable for 8. It also has a designed kitchen (34sqm) with all appliances. Teak cupboards and drawers and a BBQ is also available.

Media Room

The media room has floor to ceiling windows where you can enjoy reading, watching TV/DVD or listening to music (Sonos Play5). It is adjacent to the living and dining area.

The office can also be converted into a nanny or kids bedroom. It has two single sofas that can easily be converted into beds. There is an attached bathroom with a shower and a toilet. The office has a computer and internet access. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available and covering the central area of the villa.

Garden & Pool

The large garden is designed by landscape artist John Pettigrew, a resident of Bali for almost 20 years. He is responsible for many of the well known private residential and hotel gardens on the island. It has been planted with numerous mature trees, shrubs, and flowers. We also have a unique dry garden on the west side with rare cactus and interesting stone landscaping. We have three full time gardeners to make sure it stays beautiful all year round. Villa Tantangan has an infinity pool overlooking the sea is 16×5.20m.

Master Bedroom

The first bedroom known as the Beach View bedroom is 80sqm. It is located on the east side of the land. It has two lounging terraces, one facing the river and the other facing the garden leading to the beach. It has a king size bed, a small lounging area and a writing desk. The bathroom has a bathtub, separate shower room, WC and a walk-in wardrobe.

Guest Bedroom Two

The Temple view bedroom is on the east side as well. It has a large lounging terrace facing the river and the temple. It has twin beds that can be put together to form a king size bed. Between the bedroom and the bathroom, there is a large walk through closet. The bathroom has an open feel, nicknamed it “the jungle bathroom”. It is equipped with bathtub, separate shower space and separate toilet.

Guest Bedroom Three

The last bedroom is on the west side of the land and is in a more elevated position. It has fantastic views on the sea and the beach. It is slightly smaller than the other ones covering 48sqm. It has one queen size bed, a separate dressing area and a bathroom with separate shower area and toilet. In addition there is a large storage space for the luggage.

Villa Manager

Villa Tantangan’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.

Butlers

Butlers are on hand everyday to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout your stay.

Chef

The villa’s skilled private chef will happily prepare anything from the Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s suggestion menus, as well as discuss special requests and dietary requirements.

Security

It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. The villa has 3 guards on split shifts.

The short drive to Villa Tantangan takes you on a journey through tropical rice fields. Set in the perfect area, Villa Tantangan offers some of Bali’s best landscapes. Overlooking Nyanyi Beach and the Indian Ocean with views of the mesmerising horizon just over from the well-known Tanah Lot Temple. With the Tantangan River bordering the villa some of Bali’s wildlife can be seen here. With the breath-taking sunset backdrop and stunning scenery, Villa Tantangan is the perfect venue for memorable celebrations.

A generator and kitchen will need to be set up as power cannot be drawn from the villa and the villa kitchen is not to be used for the event. Guest’s access is at the front of the villa; suppliers are unable to park in this area. Marquees may be used with the approval of BaliOn. A run sheet, proposed event layout and infrastructure list are required from the event organiser. Ministry of Villas can recommend expert event organisers, florists, decorators and caterers so you can focus on relaxing and celebrating with your guests.

The land is elevated 15m above sea level. The villa faces south giving you a panoramic view of the sea and Nyanyi Beach. To the east, the land is bordered by Tantangan River with bountiful bird and wildlife. To the north, views of the paddies and on the horizon, the majestic volcanoes of central Bali. Truly spectacular early in the morning with the sun rise.

The villa is located in the Beraban area, on the way to Tanah Lot, between Nyanyi beach and the Nirvana Golf. The drive from the airport is about one hour. The last 3km (about 15 min) is a typical balinese rural drive through the rice fields. The ride to the commercial center of Seminyak is 45 minutes away (depending on traffic). And 35 minutes by car to Canggu deli. Nyanyi Beach is reached directly from the house through a small, typical Balinese gate at the bottom of the garden.
