Wetakeiya House’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
Housekeeping
You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.
Butlers
Butlers are on hand 24 hours a day to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout the day.
Chef
The villa’s skilled private chef will happily prepare anything from the Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s suggestion menus, as well as discuss special requests and dietary requirements. You can also enjoy a special meal under the stars by requesting your villa chef to make arrangements. You can also enjoy a BBQ meal with a chilled beer on the pool deck.
Security
It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. Additional security can also be arranged if the villa doesn’t include any in the daily rate.

Wetakeiya House is in Dickwella, Sri Lanka. The villa is positioned over a rocky beach, offering beautiful views of the ocean. You can reach a crescent shape beach that’s great for surfing in a five-minute walk. The quaint hub of Tangalle is 15 minutes away and you can reach UNESCO protected Galle Fort in one hour by car. Wetakeiya House in located about three hours from the airport.

Staying at Wetakiya house with my family has been the best holiday for all of us. We have actually been twice and looking to book again..The house is fully serviced and the meals made for us were fantastic, with the team sympathetic to our dietary needs. It’s a very clean house with great space. The location is incredible, it’s a paradise.

An amazing place close to beaches and great restaurants. Clean and comfortable in all respects. Expansive view of the Indian Ocean from the back garden looking through a canopy of coconut trees. A slice of paradise. Definitely a space where all your stresses get soaked away to the sounds of the ocean. We spent a week here. Kid friendly with plenty of space to play and explore. Minor issue with the pool but was advised about this before we got there. Pool was usable and we really had no issue. An easy walk to and from the beach for our kids (aged 8 and 10). Other than occasional power cuts and occasional wifi dropping out (not uncommon to the entire island) – no complaints from any of the family. Air conditioning in all bedrooms worked well, fantastic house staff – rooms cleaned to a good standard and given good local knowledge and recommendations, responsive owner. A memorable holiday for all of us.

We had the most amazing stay! The house and view are incredible, location is perfect right between the 2 beaches. The food was some of the best we had in the area, thank you Indu for my little cooking lesson, i can’t wait to get some Sri Lankan curries cooking at home! What a special place to stay. Wonderful hospitality, house and location, right between two beautiful beaches. We were truly spoilt.
