You’ll be forgiven if you step into Villa Satria and think that you’ve got an entire 5-star hotel to yourself. This three-pavilion has everything you need.

After just one night in this luxurious traditional villa, you may never want to stay in a hotel again, because this place combines the space of a home away from home with all the trappings of a posh hotel (and even more!). It is designed by the internationally acclaimed Dutch architect Joost Van Grieken and sits on 1165sqm of land. As such, Villa Satria has all the space you need to accommodate intimate wedding parties, big families, and other large groups, along with a long list of elegant extras, like custom furnishings, a gym, inspiring Indonesian artwork, a private swimming pool, and a technology centre. And, as a bonus, it is only a few steps away from Seminyak, where you can explore all of what Bali has to offer.

This vacation home’s three-building configuration keeps you in total control of your holiday experience, because Villa Satria offers a choice between enclosed and al fresco living and dining options. The three structures, which are all connected by open and airy covered walkways, surround a shimmering and inviting private 17m x 5m pool. The expansive living and dining areas take up two buildings, and the third one has five large bedrooms along with many of the aforementioned extras.

Living Room

There’s an open-sided living room bale that is ideal for impromptu gatherings between the friends you bring to the island and the ones you make while staying there. For a delightful change of pace, there’s an enclosed living area where you can relax in total air-conditioned comfort, share stories about your time in Seminyak, and make plans for another fun day tomorrow.

Dining Room

The same Villa Satria experience carries over to the dining facilities. Maybe you are in the mood for an energizing meal in the al fresco dining area, or you may prefer the more intimate setting of the fully enclosed private dining area that is only a few steps away. Both these areas comfortably seat up to 12 people around a solid wood table. Diners can select from a wide variety of Western and Asian meals, and the staff is happy to accommodate everything from a small continental-style breakfast as you scan the day’s news on your tablet to a huge barbecue with a traditional babi gueling spit-roast pig centrepiece.

Media Room

Villa Satria is designed with families in mind. Kids can relax while playing the Nintendo Wii or other game console or organize an impromptu tournament at the gym’s ping-pong table.

Gym

Adults may enjoy an energizing gym workout or a few moments of quiet time in the office/study, and everyone will look forward to movie time in the spacious media centre.

Garden & Pool

You and your guests will love the pool-pavilion area that is at the centre of your three-building Villa Satria. By day, you can frolic and play in the sparkling 17m pool or relax on one of the large and inviting loungers. When the sun goes down, the party in the living area is almost sure to spill outside onto the huge pool deck, as music fills the night sky.

Villa Satria has five huge bedrooms with merbau wood floors that comfortably sleep up to 10 adults, and an extra bed is available to accommodate larger parties.

Master Bedroom

You’d be forgiven if you thought that the master bedroom was actually your own five-star hotel thanks to its expansive size. It consists of a bedroom with king-size bed, sitting area with study and 40-inch 3D TV, ensuite bathroom that has a private rain shower along with a deep tub, and a large balcony that includes a daybed. Everything about the master is open and relaxing, from the bed that is in the centre of the room to the flowing floor plan.

The biru (blue), the mini-master bedroom, is much like the master suite. In addition to the king-size bed, there is a sofa/daybed that easily converts into a twin-size bed. There is a walk-through dressing area that opens into the ensuite bathroom, and a delightful outdoor private rain shower in an enclosed pebbled courtyard.

Guest Bedrooms

There are three large guest suites that rival the master bedrooms in their splendour. The hijau (green) room has a versatile king-size bed that easily converts to two separate twin-size beds. The room is filled with traditional furnishings and adornments, like an antique chest, bedside tables that are made from local sugar presses, and a carved antique bed frame. There is also an ensuite bathroom complete with outdoor and indoor showers.

The kuning (yellow) room is just a few steps down the hall. It includes two twin-size beds that can be combined into a king-size bed, antique tables and chairs, a walk-through dressing area, and an ensuite bathroom

Your large third guestroom is somewhat detached from the others and is ideal for kids. The charming space was originally a stand-alone Sulawesian house. The two twin-size beds can be combined into a king-size bed, and there is a huge 46-inch 3D TV, Nintendo Wii, and a large selection of games, toys, books, and movies. There is also an ensuite dressing area and bathroom.

One of the greatest advantages of staying in a villa is the personalised service provided by dedicated staff. Villa Satria’s staff have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly Balinese hospitality.

Villa Manager

Villa Satria’s friendly manager has a wealth of local knowledge which he is happy to share with guests, and is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. His job is to oversee and coordinate the staff and property and to assist guests during their stay. He also speaks impeccable English.

Housekeeping

You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.

Butlers

The villa’s four butlers are on hand to take care of their guests’ every need. They are also responsible for daily housekeeping and domestic duties.

Chef

The villa’s skilled private chef will happily prepare anything from the priced menu, featuring Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s dishes, as well as discuss special requests and dietary requirements.

Security

It’s nice to know you have security when away from home. A team of security guards provide night-time security at Villa Satria.

To discover this hidden gem, you will have to pass through the gated community of Hotel Villa Lumbung Bali, keep going down the driveway and turn left. Several hundred metres down, on your right, lies Villa Satria.

It is close to the Petitenget beach, shops, restaurants, and nightclubs. If you’re looking for some local food, try Warung Kolega which sits across the road from Villa Satria. Further down are well-known food joints such as Merah Putih. All villa guests have unrestricted access to the Canggu Club that has tennis courts, spa, fitness centre, water park, bowling alley, and other fine trappings.
