The chalet offers two floors of sublime modern comfort, from generous living areas to three sumptuous bedrooms, including a fun bunk room that’s perfect for kids. This incredibly inviting chalet comes with all the creature comforts skiers and homebodies could ask for, including top of the line entertainment systems, individually controlled underfloor heating, a sumptuous Japanese bath and a Nescafe coffee machine gracing the fully equipped kitchen.

Kairos by the Mountain infuses sleek modern elegance with a touch of whimsy and some joie de vivre. On the outside, the chalet stuns with modern angles and endless windows and on the inside, that same sophisticated air prevails. But when you look closer, you’ll also find touches of fun and levity. As you step in from the cold after a long day of skiing, the cute mural in the bunk room and the punchy textiles and futuristic furniture in the living room are sure to put a smile on your face.

Living Room

The living room is thoughtfully positioned on the chalet’s upper floor. The space is dominated by contrasting stretches of glass and light timber, with views looking over Hakuba’s snow-covered streets. The grey sofa angled by the window perfectly matches the concrete touches incorporated to the décor, with orange cushions adding some zest to the space. The futuristic lounge chair deserves a special mention as well! Opposite the sofa you will find an elegant modern fireplace and a smart TV fully loaded with Apple TV, Netflix and Bose speakers vying for your attention.

Dining Room

The dining area has a clever layout where the dining table is a fluid extension of the kitchen island. The dining area can seat up to eight guests, with the living room sofas and cosy fireplace only a few steps away. The dining area is flanked by a sleek kitchen fitted with all the necessary appliances, dishes and cutlery. Standout features include an AEG oven and cooktop and a Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee machine.

Kairos by the Mountain features three bedrooms. With their natural wood finish and cloud like bedding, the bedrooms are incredibly inviting, especially after a long day of skiing. This chalet is well suited for a variety of groups as the bedrooms offer great flexibility. Two rooms offer the choice between a king-sized bed or two singles. The third room is nothing short of adorable as it comes with two sets of bunk beds, a whimsical moose mural and a cute polar bear carpet.

Kairos by the Mountain is a three-bedroom chalet that’s built over two floors. The ground floor houses two bedrooms, a standalone bathroom and the chalet’s ski room. The upper floor houses the living and dining areas and one more bedroom.

Your stay is made enjoyable by the professional staff who have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly hospitality.

Property Manager

The chalet’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the chalet. The property manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

Our chalets in Japan often have housekeeping 1 – 2 times per week depending on the property. Each chalet will have their own cleaning schedule.

Kairos by the Mountain is located in Hakuba, Japan. The chalet is positioned right on the doorstep of the Echoland neighbourhood and next door to the Courtyard by Marriott hotel. This is a peaceful locale where your next great meal is never more than a stroll away. Besides Courtyard, you can reach Echoland’s main dining strip in under a five-minute walk. Nestled amid the Japanese Alps, the Hakuba Valley is home to 10 ski resorts. Happo One, Hakuba 47 and Goryu are the most popular options – and they’re all located within 10 minutes from the chalet!
