Though it’s a tall order, The Divine Villa really lives up to its name. The setting alone makes the property feel like a slice of heaven, with spell binding views of emerald green forest and fields available throughout the villa. The furnishings are equally beautiful, with rooms adorned with locally made pieces and beautiful antiques. The exclusive setting and fun filled features (billiards, anyone?) make this villa perfect for hosting your crew on that long-awaited group holiday.

When you’re not busy enjoying the great outdoors, you can get cosy in the villa’s warm and welcoming living room. This generous space features two large grey sofas and a flatscreen TV, with a beautiful spiral staircase adding an inspiring design element to the space. True to the villa’s palatial stature, you’ll also discover inviting verandas and cosy corners as you explore further.

Gourmands rejoice! The villa boasts multiple dining areas where guests can delight in gourmet cuisine prepared by the villa’s chef. The formal dining room has a beautiful timber table which can seat 10. However, we suspect you’ll enjoy most of your meals in the fabulous ambalama dining pavilion positioned right by the pool.

The Divine Villa is a six-bedroom villa that’s built over four levels. The villa features enclosed living and dining areas, six ensuite bedrooms, games room, gym, spa pavilion, extensive gardens, and a large swimming pool.

Your stay in The Divine Villa is made enjoyable by the professional staff. The Divine Villa’s staff have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly Sri Lankan hospitality.
Villa Manager
The Divine Villa’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
Housekeeping
You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.
Butlers
Butlers are on hand daily to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout your stay.
Chef
The villa’s skilled private chef will happily prepare anything from the Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s suggestion menus, as well as discuss special requests and dietary requirements.
Security
It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. Additional security can also be arranged if the villa doesn’t include any in the daily rate.
Location
The Divine Villa is located in the village of Heenatilaga in southern Sri Lanka. Surrounded by a lush tea plantation, the villa offers a wonderfully relaxing setting surrounded by beautiful green views. The villa sits on a hill with a steep driveway, so a four-wheel drive will come in handy. The villa is located just a 5-10-minute drive from both Thalpe and Mihiripenna Beach which are famed as some of the best beaches in Sri Lanka. Famous Unawatuna Beach is just a little further off, while UNESCO-protected Galle Fort is about 20 minutes away.

Villa The Divine is nestled in a green setting, surrounded by a beautiful garden, this property offers a quiet and soothing setting, perfectly isolated from the hustle and bustle while being close to Galle in tuk tuk. Our BAWA room was exceptional, with a splendid view of the lush vegetation and, in the distance, the sea.The careful decoration and the layout of the spaces reflect a real concern for comfort and aesthetics. We enjoyed the magnificent pool overlooking the lush vegetation. It was ideal to cool off while contemplating the beauty of the tropical landscape.
The team was remarkably attentive to our well-being, from our arrival until our departure. Personalized service greatly contributed to the quality of our stay. Breakfast with Sri Lankan and continental options was excellent.
If we return to Sri Lanka, we will stay again in this villa with great pleasure. An address not to be missed for those looking for luxury, authenticity, tranquility and impeccable service.

Our stay at Divine Villa in Galle was amazing. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and made sure we were comfortable. The villa is spacious, beautifully designed, and offers stunning views with excellent facilities.
The food was one of the best parts of our stay. Every meal—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. They even grow some of their own produce, which makes a big difference in taste. There are great vegetarian options as well. The separate dining area adds a nice touch, making meals feel even more special.
We stayed in the Infinity Room, which had incredible ocean and valley views. It was peaceful and perfect for relaxing. The infinity pool was another highlight, offering a great spot to unwind while enjoying the scenery.

Absolute gem of a place on the top of a hill in downsouth. Beautiful location. All the staff, specially Lahiru, Nadeera and Krishan made the stay memorable by being kind and very attentive to all of the requests. The room was stunning, clean and very spacious. Food was great, you get good coffee (Nespresso) for free too.
You get an abundance of wild life all around the property with monkeys, birds, specially peacocks (which can be loud in the morning though). One thing to note is that you gotta be okay with climbing stairs. Definitely worth visiting, can’t wait to go back!

“The Divine,” a villa that lives up to its name! We stayed in this fabulous villa, which we rented in its entirety for 12 people. Our stay will remain an unforgettable memory, both for the beauty of the site, nestled in lush greenery, and for the discreet and attentive service of the staff, not to mention the excellent cuisine! We highly recommend it. The owners are reassuring and go out of their way to ensure your stay goes perfectly. They are available to accompany and advise you as you explore Sri Lanka, which is still untouched by mass tourism.
The location is peaceful and offers unobstructed views of all the wildlife (monkeys, monitor lizards, peacocks, eagles, and other exotic birds) and the lush surrounding flora.
