Villa Thuya is a modern villa filled with natural light and classic style, located just steps from the beach on the west coast of Sri Lanka. Villa Thuya Living
Villa Thuya is an elegant contemporary villa characterised by huge picture windows and harmonious décor in light earth tones. The lagoon pool adds some real wow factor to the property, not least because of the natural rock incorporated into the design.
Living Room
The living room is located on the ground floor, with full-wall windows looking out to the pool and garden. The room is furnished with a pillowy white sofa and two rococo inspired armchairs, with an HD TV with satellite channels and a DVD player offering in-villa entertainment.
Dining Room
Villa Thuya’s dining area is built into the ground-floor living room, offering the same alluring views of the pool. Meals can also be enjoyed up on the rooftop.
Garden & Pool
Villa Thuya’s magnificent lagoon swimming pool is built around a huge natural rock formation. The pool also includes a sleek swim-up bar. A deck overlooking the pool offers comfy seating on lounge furniture. If your own swimming pool is not enough, it’s only a few steps to the beach where guests can enjoy a dip in the natural rock pool when in season.

Villa Manager
Villa Thuya’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
Housekeeping
You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.
Butlers
Butlers are on hand every day to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout your stay.
Chef
The villa’s skilled private chef will happily prepare anything from the Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s suggestion menus, as well as discuss special requests and dietary requirements.
Security
It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. Additional security can also be arranged if the villa doesn’t include any in the daily rate.
Location
Villa Thuya is located in the village of Balapitiya on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka. The villa offers private access to a rugged beach where guest can dip into the natural rock pool. Villa Thuya is located about 30 minutes from the beautiful Bentota Beach and about one hour from the UNESCO protected Galle Fort.

New Year 2025 at Villa Thuya
Not the first time in Sri Lanka! They chose this villa for New Year. Holidays with family, friends and children, numbering 10 people. There was room for everyone. Breakfast and dinner were taken, they loved it. The villa is in a convenient location. The sandy beach is 3 minutes’ walk away. Opposite the villa beach with stones, but very beautiful views!
Special thanks to the villa staff, all friendly, sympathetic. Helped with all questions and leisure activities! I recommend Villa Thuya for family vacation.

Best beachfront villa in the south coast with heavenly food.
One of the best beachfront villas in the Southern coast of Sri Lanka. From the booking till the checkout, (Mr. Gayan (aided in booking), Mr. Nirmal, Mr. Shehan & Mr. Madushanka (villa staff) ) the process was very ease while the hospitality and attention to detail was top notch. While the scenery was breathtaking and the amenities and the rooms were cozy and classy, what I enjoyed most was the food. Food was out of this world. It was a experience in itself. If you are hoping for a getaway along the southern coast of sri lanka for a small group i would highly recommend this villa for a calm and enjoyable experience.

Everything was great
What I liked:
We rested at the villa with the whole family at the beginning of April. The villa is very large, with all amenities, and in an excellent location! On the territory of the Villa there is a large swimming pool, comfortable sun loungers and an outdoor shower.
We would like to express special gratitude to the staff. The guys took care of our comfortable stay throughout our vacation. The chef prepared excellent breakfasts and incredibly tasty seafood. Towels and bed linen were changed upon request.
The villa is located in a very secluded location, ideal for those who want to enjoy the sound of the sea and solitude. The sunsets here are simply incredible!! There is a beach nearby, very beautiful and deserted, but unfortunately at the time of our stay there were big waves and we could not swim :(
Nearby there is a supermarket and stalls with fruits and vegetables.

Great Villa for an Incredible stay
We reserved this lovey villa for the new year holidays on behalf of our clients for a week. They were all really happy about everything from place, amenities, food, and the service. Our point of contact was Mr Janath, and he made sure everything was delivered as promised. A luxurious beach villa tastefully furnished; a great venue not too far from colombo, for a lovely vacation with family & friends. Dips in the “rock pool” was the main attraction while climbing the many rocks in the surroundings reached out to super views & photo opportunities of the beautiful landscapes. We went on a three night four day getaway and it was a fantastic experience. The place is beautiful and well maintained and the staff was so accommodating preparing and arranging meals based on our daily excursion timings. The food was absolutely delicious and kudos to the chef. Each meal was beautifully presented and little touches made a big difference. One of the best vacations I’ve been on with my family. Place was beautiful and well maintained. The staff at the villa were very helpful and friendly. The management group was also extremely helpful. Wouldn’t encourage going into the sea nearby as it was quite rough. You also need to go through a pathway with many rocks to access the beach (not ideal for children). We did a few excursions to nearby places.

we visited in July 2021 everything in the villa is super with good-sized rooms. The special thing about it is that the staff at the villa, as well as the management office, is extremely accommodating. Eranda, Kosala, and Nirmal anticipate your needs even before you ask for things. Beautiful villa in quiet are. The vila has a private access to the beach, very beautiful view. I really like the villa design using modern furniture. WOW! This villa is amazing and incredible value. I can’t believe how cheap it is yet the standard is fabulous and the villa design is so cool. Villa Thuya is located on what can be described as a private beach with a rocky shore line. The gardens are tropical and lush offering a beautiful frame to the pool which is one of the most unique swimming pools I have ever seen. I love this property and think it’s perfect for those wanting to stay in a villa but not break the bank.
