Located on Jalan Drupadi, this rustic venue features beautiful hanging lanterns, a stretch of lawn and a garden swing – we dare you not to pose for at least one photo! Zibiru serves farm-to-table Italian cuisine and also offers gluten free pasta. Headed by Executive Chef Luigi Calcagno, Zibiru amps up the ambiance by hosting live jazz music every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
3. Da Maria
Da Maria is without a doubt the grooviest Italian restaurant in Seminyak. Open since late 2016, Da Maria has a cool blue and white décor inspired by the Amalfi coast. This ain’t your grandma’s Italian restaurant: Da Maria is open for lunch and dinner and stays open late, hosting a late night “pizza and disco” session every night between 10pm – 2am. The menu includes all the Italian staples, including pizza, pasta, insalata and of course, dolci. The tiramisu is to die for! In keeping with their groovy credo, Da Maria also offers an extensive wine and cocktail list.
4. La Lucciola
An oldie, but a goodie! Year after year, La Lucciola continues to be one of the most popular and best loved Italian restaurants in Seminyak. Located right on the beach, La Lucciola charms visitors with its beautiful setting and gorgeous authentic Italian food. You just can’t beat the soundtrack of the Indian Ocean in the background! Some of the menu highlights include the seafood stew, stuffed zucchini flowers and the formidable dessert tasting plate.
5. Ultimo
Ultimo is another Seminyak classic. This spacious open-plan venue is located right on Eat Street and gets packed night after night so you better book a table or get here early! Open from 4pm daily, Ultimo serves huge portions prepared from fresh high-quality ingredients. The pasta dishes in particular are worth trying. There’s also daily live music at the restaurant and the setting is great for kids as well.
6. Hank’s Pizza & Liquor
If you’re craving for Italian food but want something cool and funky rather than a sombre candle light dinner, make your way to Hank’s Pizza & Liquor. Located up the second floor on Eat Street, Hank’s takes its name from author Charles Bukowski and the restaurants’ walls are adorned with mug shots of David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix and co. In keeping with the theme, the menu includes pizza and pasta dishes named after musical legends. Hank’s also hosts regular live music sets and the outdoor balcony is a great spot for people watching.
7. Rolling Fork
Rolling Fork is a beautifully designed rustic restaurant which serves authentic Italian food on Jalan Kunti. The restaurant serves fresh homemade pasta and is also open for breakfast. The ravioli is some of the best in Bali. Rolling Fork also has an outlet close to Padang Padang Beach in Uluwatu.
8. La Baracca
La Baracca is an atmospheric restaurant set along trendy Jalan Petitenget. Though the location is teetering on the border of Kerobokan, this one is just too good not to be included in a list of the best Italian restaurants in Seminyak! The rustic décor of the venue echoes the authentic flair of the food – and also provides a great background for Instagram photos! La Baracca excels in both pizza and pasta and if you’re lucky, you might just snag one of their complimentary desserts. La Baracca also has venues in Canggu and Uluwatu.
