While we’re all for visiting sacred temples and tranquil rice fields, it seems fair to say that quite a few people travel to Bali simply to enjoy the ice cold Bintangs – and to visit the coolest beach clubs! From Potato Head to Ku De Ta and from Azul to La Brisa, Bali’s beach clubs are definitely worthy destinations in their own right. Well, now there’s a new kid on the block – say hello to Tropicola…

Tropicola is a brand new beach club located on Batu Belig Beach which slowly but surely is building up some real momentum, nestled between tried and tested Seminyak and hip and happening Canggu.

If the branding and styling seems on point, it’s hardly a surprise. After all, Tropicola comes from the same team behind Motel Mexicola and The Bucket List in Bondi. Tropicola is styled with retro tones of white, red, blue and yellow and features three bars as well as an open kitchen.

Denny Deluca Del Paso heads the beverage side of things (definitely try the Tropicolada) while Executive Chef Steve Skelly has curated a scrumptious menu with rich international influences and a focus on clean eating. Tuna tartare, al pastor pork tacos, street corn hot from the grill… Hungry yet?

Tropicola definitely has a retro 80s feel to it and the cleverly built venue offers fabulous views of the beach throughout. This cool new beach club was designed by James Brown (the maestro behind Motel Mexicola and The Bucket List), with fresh beats delivered by Juan Ego, an Argentinian master DJ with 20+ years’ experience of playing the Playa Del Carmen party circuit in Mexico.

Cool retro design, epic beachfront views, yummy eats and fresh beats… All we can say is race you there!
