Arriving in Niseko

Arriving in October into Niseko the town is pretty quiet and everyone is getting ready for the winter and counting the days until it snows. Our team was in town inspecting some fabulous Niseko villas. Niseko is two to three hours drive from Hokkaido’s international airport, New Chitose Airport, just outside Sapporo. Most buses will drop you at the ‘Welcome Center’ however you can also arrange private transfers through Ministry of Villas to properties in town.

Staying at Shiki

When it’s not snowing in Niseko, you can find amazing accommodation at a fraction of the cost of heading here in winter. We checked in to Shiki Niseko which is an uber cool apartment with a stunning view of Mt Yotei. Sure everyone comes for the snow but these days Niseko has so much more to offer in every season. Especially in summer! For adrenaline junkies Niseko has it all. Hiking, biking, golfing, climbing, rafting, fishing or relaxing in the warm waters of our onsens, a summer holiday in Niseko has activites for everyone.

The famous Mount Yotei

Looking out to Mt Yotei from Shiki, it’s a view you never get sick of. Mount Yotei is an astonishing natural landmark, commanding attention on those marvellous clear days that are usually so rare during winter but in Autumn everyday is clear and picture perfect.

Villas in Japan

The last thing you think that you would find in Japan is villas however Niseko has some stunning villas. We inspected villas mainly in Hirafu and they are spread-out throughout the town. One of our favourites is The Glasshouse.

Exploring Hirafu

When walking around the town in Autumn many of the shops are closed getting ready for the winter right around the corner. However we found the town peaceful and a wonderful place to explore. There are great restaurants open and the food in Niseko is amazing.

Taking a walk

Just out of town is a trip worth taking. In the Autumn the colours of the leaves are stunning.

Exploring Niseko in Autumn

If you are looking for a cheap holiday and want to simply relax Niseko is certainly worth a visit. Autumn is certainly going to be quieter than heading here in winter however summer is also a great season to visit. Take a look out some of our Niseko villas or contact our team for help.
