Which Vessel Should I Choose?

If you are staying in Koh Samui with a group of friends or family, you might consider renting a smaller fast boat. This is a great option for a private day cruise. Samui Boat Charter offers speed boast for up to 35 passengers.

It’s also worth considering if you prefer a speed boat or a sailing boat. For a more “authentic” experience, we recommend booking a sailing boat with an experienced skipper. One gorgeous option are the traditional “junk” boats offered by Chantara Junk Boat.

If you’re planning to sail overnight, you should consider renting a larger vessel. A yacht will be able to accommodate large groups and allows for overnight charters. With Samui Boat Charter, you can rent a yacht in Koh Samui for up to 50 passengers. Boutique Yachting offers yachts that are able to accommodate up to 50 passengers on a daytrip and a maximum of 10 guests overnight.

Where to Sail from Koh Samui

When you set sail on the Andaman Sea, the available destinations are as boundless as the horizon! One popular option is to sail to the neighbouring islands – Koh Phangan and Koh Tao. Koh Phangan is famous for its Full Moon parties, while Koh Tao boasts some of the most vibrant marine life on the planet.

Those looking to experience Thailand’s natural beauty at its most pristine should set your course for the Ang Thong National Marine Park. Here you can lower your anchor and try out snorkelling, diving, kayaking and more. The park is made up of some 40 islands and the views that a private boat tour affords you are out of this world.

If you’re feeling a bit more adventurous, you can simply request the local skipper to bring you to a beautiful secluded beach, where you can relax in blissful privacy. The surrounding waters also offer countless options for epic snorkelling, diving and water sports.
