Serenity in the tourist hub is what we would have called it as a nickname. The Ministry of Villas team was on their way to check-in at Le Jardin Villas and we calculated it would have only taken us 10 minutes to the villa in Seminyak, but alas for the traffic! Seminyak was in full steam that afternoon… everyone was out to enjoy what Bali had to offer that very day. We were getting a little antsy just sitting in the taxi! But all that changed immediately as we stepped into the exquisite Le Jardin Villas.
This impressive boutique villa is encompassed by nature and somehow you feel like you have been transported out to somewhere else rather than central Bali. In short, Le Jardin Villas has brought the rainforest to you.
Exquisite Beauty Right Next Door – Le Jardin Villas
Le Jardin Villas are an exotic collection of 11 self-contained properties right in Seminyak, designed in a private space that is surrounded by lush tropical greenery. They boast beautiful one, two and three bedroom villas, designed for those who relish space and privacy without having to forgo the harmony of nature and high-end facilities.
When we got in, our friendly villa manager came over to explain the basics of the villa – where the crockery is kept, how the air-con works, where the bedrooms and bathrooms are. All with the famous Balinese warm smile and hospitality!
Bed and Bath
We were in a two-bedroom villa: downstairs, facing the pool, was an expansive master bedroom. To the left of the bed ran an indoor Zen garden which led into the bathroom. The bathroom breathed one word: space. It had a lovely terrazzo bathtub with bath essentials such as bath salt, bubble bath and soap. There was a WC and indoor free standing shower.
Upstairs was the guest bedroom which had twin beds that can be configured to a double if need be. It had a rooftop bale and semi indoor shower (which was such a reprieve to have rather than most villas with only outside!) The bathroom followed the same concept as the master.
A little Gift
Christmas came early for us – we also had a 15 minutes Welcome Massage at the Le Jardin Villas Spa! We were blessed to have had Asih, the spa therapist, look after us. It was the best massage we have had in Bali to date – she knew where and when to place added pressure or to be gentle. One thing was for sure: she kneaded away our tensions and aching muscles. We did not want our fifteen minutes to end and we knew we will be back for more!
A full body massage for an hour costs about 300,000IDR.
Food in the belly
Most villas have a standard breakfast menu – American, Continental or Indonesian. Eggs are either scrambled, omelette or sunny side up. Le Jardin Villas however, brought this to the next level.
Eggs benedict? Yes, please!
They also had amazing strawberry, blueberry, honey and marmalade… Yum!
In all, we had a fabulous stay at the Le Jardin Villas. Peaceful, tranquil and amazing.
