2. Kamala Beach Plaza

Kamala Beach Plaza is a tiny local bazaar bringing several standalone stalls together under one roof. You can find a huge array of beach ware, accessories, jewellery, electronics, souvenirs and even a mini-mart sitting at the centre of the hub. There are two entrances leading to the shopping centre: from the main road and the beach, making Kamala Beach Plaza a convenient shopping spot.

3. Kamala Walkway

Kamala Walkway is a miniature shopping street shrouded by lush greenery and located just metres from the beach. The Walkway houses a dozen or so stores including a couple of art galleries, a tattoo studio, several massage parlours and numerous cafes and coffee shops to keep you hydrated while wandering through the area under the scorching tropical sun.

4. Kamala Big C Market

If you need groceries and other basic necessities, head to Kamala Big C Market located on the main road. The supermarket sells fresh fruits and vegetables, beverages, toiletries, sunscreen and sunglasses, clothing, accessories and other goods you might need during your holiday.

5. Kamala Village Open-Air Market

Kamala Village Open-Air Market mainly caters to local shoppers, but tourists may also find it interesting to wander around the large bazaar, savouring ready-made Thai snacks and purchasing bright T-shirts to bring back home. Basically, the market offers a wide selection of seasonal tropical fruits and vegetables, fish, meat and spices. There are a couple of stalls catering to tourists and offering traditional Thai souvenirs, virgin coconut oil and clothes and accessories.
