AHIRU CHALET

Ahiru Chalet is the perfect homebase for exploring everything Hakuba has to offer. This impressive four-bedroom chalet is idyllically nestled in Misorano, offering easy access to Echoland’s restaurants (you can reach the main street in a five-minute jaunt) while still maintaining a peaceful sense of privacy and a lovely connection to nature. Ahiru Chalet is a fresh modern take on the classic ski chalet, boasting glass encased living areas on the upper floor, underfloor heating to keep you nice and toasty and a well-designed ski room for storing your gear. The chalet packs a lot of punch into its 180 or so square metres, and thanks to two bunk rooms, it can easily accommodate a group of 10. Ahiru Chalet is the perfect base for you and your ski buddies: you’ll find Happo One, Hakuba 47 and Goryu (aka Hakuba’s most popular ski resorts) all within a 5–10-minute drive.

Ahiru Chalet is fresh, modern and lavishly spacious. This well-designed chalet offers all the comforts you could want on a ski holiday and a great setting for entertaining your crew. The large living areas take up most of the upper floor, inviting everyone to get together and swap some stories surrounded by floor to ceiling views of Hakuba’s snow-covered trees. The four bedrooms feel light and fresh and offer a variety of bedding arrangements, allowing everyone to get a great night’s sleep before heading back to the slopes.

Living Room

The living room is a fabulous space encased in full wall glass – the perfect place to cosy up with a glass of wine and good company, watching as the snow falls outside. The large grey sofa is ideally positioned for taking in those snowy views, though there is a large TV to keep you entertained as well. When the weather permits or you feel like braving the cold air, step out to the balcony to glimpse views of the Happo One lifts beckoning in the distance.

Dining Room

The dining area is also incorporated to the grand living room which takes up most of the chalet’s top floor. Mirroring the chalet’s overall décor, the dining table is sleek and modern, with ten dining chairs to match. Dressed in all white, the chalet’s fully equipped kitchen is positioned to the back of the room, offering all the crockery, cutlery and appliances needed for preparing delicious meals, including a coffee maker, kettle, toaster, microwave, wine glasses – and more.

Ahiru Chalet features four bedrooms. The bedrooms are light and airy, and they offer a variety of bedding arrangements to accommodate different groups. There are three bedrooms on the ground floor: two with king beds (or two singles if you prefer) and one with two sets of bunk beds. Additionally, there is a smaller bunk room on the upper floor, conveniently located next to the living areas.

Ahiru Chalet is a four-bedroom chalet that’s built over two floors. The ground floor houses three bedrooms (two of them ensuite), a standalone bathroom and a ski room. The upper floor houses the living and dining areas and one small bedroom.

Your stay is made enjoyable by the professional staff who have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly hospitality.

Property Manager

The chalet’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the chalet. The property manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

Our chalets in Japan often have housekeeping 1 – 2 times per week depending on the property. Each chalet will have their own cleaning schedule.
