Akashi Residence is sleek, seductive and staggeringly spacious. Designed by visionary architect Alexis Dornier, the villa offers lush tropical living and glossy modern style across three floors. The central atrium is a real show piece, with a sumptuous swimming pool and a spiral silver waterslide vying for your attention. This is a villa where you can truly live large and enjoy yourself – there’s a lounge to suit your every mood and spaces to keep you entertained, whether you’re craving a rigorous workout or a lazy movie night on the sofa.

Living Room

As Akashi Residence is lavishly large in size, it only makes sense that guests get to alternate between several stylish lounge areas depending on their mood. There’s a sunken lounge by the garden and an air-conditioned media room with a massive TV. And who could resist the downstairs lounge with its pool table? You can also laze away the day on the large terrace positioned on the top floor.

Dining Room

Further echoing the property’s epic proportions, the villa features two full-sized dining areas for guests to choose from. The main dining area sits on pool level with full-wall windows looking out to those inviting blue waters. If you prefer, you can also leave the glass doors open to enjoy a natural breeze. This dining area can seat 12 and it’s adjoined by a fully equipped kitchen. The second dining area, which also seats 12, is located downstairs and features its own kitchen setup.

Media room

Kick back with a good movie or binge on your favourite shows in the villa’s air-conditioned media room. The room features a massive sofa and an 85-inch smart TV with Netflix.

Gym

Wellness is woven into the villa’s DNA and the property features a well-equipped gym located on the top floor. The ice bath and yoga deck ensure a holistic wellness experience.

Garden & Pool

From rolling green lawns to palm trees swaying in the breeze, Akashi Residence is enveloped by tropical greenery. Hidden inside the villa is its crowning jewel: a 17-metre-long swimming pool that looks up to the clear blue sky above it. While the pool is seductive in its own right, the most dazzling feature has to be the silver waterslide which takes you from the villa’s top floor straight to the pool waiting down below. The poolside deck is dotted with sun beds and the ample balconies offer even more opportunity for sun baking and daydreaming. As the sun begins to set, there is no better place to gather up for cocktails than the sunken lounge gazing over the villa’s garden.

Akashi Residence features six bedrooms. The rooms are decorated with streamlined furniture rendered in calm earthy tones, with generous windows introducing lush green hues to the colour palette. Two rooms feature king-sized beds, and four rooms feature 2x queen-sized beds each. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor and two rooms are housed upstairs.

Akashi Residence is a six-bedroom villa that’s built over three floors. The main floor houses the living and dining areas, two bedrooms, powder room and pool. The top floor houses four bedrooms, gym and terrace. The waterslide to the pool also launches from this floor. The lower ground floor houses a second dining area and kitchen, ice bath, pool table and gardens. The villa’s elevator ensures ease of access for all guests.

Villa Manager

Akashi Residence’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.

Butlers

Butlers are on hand everyday to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout your stay.

Chef

The villa’s skilled private chef will happily prepare anything from the Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s suggestion menus, as well as discuss special requests and dietary requirements.

Security

It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. Additional security can also be arranged if the villa doesn’t include any in the daily rate.
