Baan Asan Living
Baan Asan has a sleek modern design channeling the sophisticated chic of an uptown condo. The rooms have high ceilings and endless windows paired with a floating staircase and polished concrete floors. The centre piece is the massive pool, which offers spectacular views of the Andaman Sea.
Living Room
Baan Asan’s living room resembles a modern gallery space with its high ceiling and full-length windows. The room features a black sofa and modern divan flanked by a designer armchair in a funky shade of lime. The living room connects with the upper level through a beautiful floating staircase.
Dining Room
Baan Asan features two twin dining tables housed on either side of the dining room’s sliding glass doors. The indoor dining table shares the same huge space with the living room and the outdoor table overlooks the pool and garden. Both tables can seat up to 14 guests. The villa also features an immaculately well-equipped gourmet kitchen.
Media Room
Baan Asan’s media room features a plush L-shaped sofa and a massive flatscreen TV with Bose Lifestyle audio/video equipment mounted on the wall.
Gym
Baan Asan’s private gym features basic cardio equipment and weights. The room has large windows which allow you to enjoy the amazing views during your workout.
Garden & Pool
Baan Asan’s 20-metre swimming pool overlooks the beach and offers great opportunities for sunbathing on the surrounding sun beds, though shade is also provided by parasols. The pool features a separate shallow section that’s ideal for kids. There’s also an outdoor Jacuzzi where you can enjoy a soak beneath the stars. A covered sala sits right on the beach and works as an alfresco living room thanks to a generous in-built sofa.

Your stay in Baan Asan is made enjoyable by the professional staff. Baan Asan’s staff have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly hospitality.
Villa Manager
Baan Asan’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
Housekeeping
You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.
Butlers
Butlers are on hand everyday to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout your stay.
Chef
Baan Asan’s skilled Thai chef will happily prepare Thai cuisine and Western favorites.
Security
It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. Additional security can also be arranged if the villa doesn’t include any in the daily rate.
Location
Baan Asan is located in Taling Ngam, one of the most scenic, serene and exclusive areas of Koh Samui island in Thailand. Baan Asan offers guests direct beach access and faces the Five Islands and the national Marine Park, a spectacle in itself. There are a few great restaurants, including The Virgin Coast Restaurant within a 10-minute walk from the villa. Samui’s capital Nathon is about 20 minutes away by car, while the tourist hub of Chaweng can be reached in about one hour. It takes about an hour to reach Baan Asan from the airport.

The physical premises themselves were immaculate – photo’s online can’t capture that atmosphere. The photo’s showed it backed onto a beach – but we could not have imagined that the beach was that isolated. Even though the large resort was just down the beach (about 1.5km I think) we might have seen maybe 5 couples wander past our part of the beach – absolutely fantastic.
The facilities were fantastic – cannot fault anything at all.
The staff were amazing – all of them – Rai was the villa manager and nothing was too small for her – even indulging the kids with ice cream and treats and speciality foods for Alex when he didn’t feel like the meal that was cooked for him. Grounds staff were brining us towels everytime we went for a swim (we took our own but then stopped bringing them out). They inflated pool toys for the kids every day. All the meals were fantastic, Large Birthday dinner for Sam out under the stars near the beach – little bit of rain towards the end – but that certainly didn’t impact much.
Everything was just very calm and relaxed and really laid back. All of the guests raved about it and said we would very happily return to that property should the need arise.
Without a doubt, top notch – 10/10 I couldn’t recommend that place higher and have told many people about it. And the location.

Amazing!!
Have just spent the most incredible 5 days at Baan Asan. The villa is beautiful and equipped fully with all luxuries you would ever need. Very peaceful and quiet and with a beach at the end of the garden perfect for swimming. However, the greatest part of the stay was the service for Ann and her team of staff who made our stay so special through looking after us with the most amazing food and service and always with the biggest smiles!

Our description of Baan Asan? Open, quiet and peaceful, simple and chic, decorated with taste. The sound of water from the three black vasques along with the infinite swimming pool ending on the sea gave us a feeling of serenity and freedom. As soon as the wooden front door opens you are amazed by the breath-taking view framed by the scattered palm trees and the luxurious private villas on each side with the ocean in the back for a complete immersion with nature…Its as if you are entering a painting. The lovely crew is devoted and caring, making your stay an unforgettable moment. The cuisine is exquisite. The cook, Khun Det, prepares you the most delicious and very tasty traditional local Thai food and original fresh juices with fruits of the season at breakfast. Your tastebuds will be wonderfully surprised. The manager, Khun Chat, with his sweet, humble and devoted personality, is full of original ideas, answering your every request with an unlimited kindness. Khun Ann and khun Ruen, the couple, are taking care of Baan Asan with a thorough attention, making the place look lovely at all times. In other words, wonderful staff, beautiful architectural taste from overall to meticulous details… Baan Asan is a treasure. What an amazing spot! I really can’t say enough about this villa, we have stayed in some nice places but this is definitely at the top. Everything was perfect, both villa and staff are of top notch quality. We had a large group and worked the staff hard, the Villa Manager (Khun Chat) and the Chef (Chef Det) were outstanding. Meals are of 5 star restaurant quality. We definitely plan to stay again!

The Perfect Private Villa
We were lucky enough to stay at Baan Asan for 4 nights recently and had an amazing time. We were a group of 8 adults and 2 young children and found the villa to be the perfect spot for our reunion. Baan Asan is located on the beach with a spectacular view of the islands just off the coast of Koh Samui (a MUCH prettier view here than the other side of the island). We were a large group that really enjoy spending time together so the enormous living and dining areas were well used – also the pool was the perfect spot to chill out during they day. The little pavilion at the front of the property by the water was the perfect reading spot during the hot afternoon, catching the breeze from the ocean, and the perfect spot for pre dinner cocktails in the evening. The FOOD was the best we had on the island – and we ate at some great restaurants from 5 star to beach BBQ – and it did not compare to Baan Asans chef! We also had a large birthday dinner at the house and the staff helped us to decorate the villa with balloons and flowers, it looked beautiful. Thanks to Aer and her team for a perfect experience!

Absolutely incredible
I was lucky enough to spend Christmas and new year at the baan asan. To say this was the most incredible holiday I’ve ever experienced (and I’ve experienced a few) is an understatement. I was lucky enough to have been with staying with 11 ( 3 kids and 8 adults) people who mean the world to me but I can honestly say the stay at the baan asan was amazing. Pooh the resort manager, couldn’t have done enough for us, nothing was ever too much and you always knew you were in extremely capable hands. As for Teddy the chef , he too was happy to cook anything. The kids had more western style food, whilst the rest of us were keen to try anything. We also had an adult with a shellfish allergy which was also catered for at every meal, so top marks all round. Ann and the other fantastic gentleman ( sorry I can’t remember his name) were also lovely. One minute you would be rising for breakfast and the next your room had a full makeover! The baan asan villa is full of modern technology inside and out, with a very modern feel. I honestly can’t recommend the baan asan and the staff enough. If you want to relax and take in your amazing surroundings with a very modern feel, baan asan is for you.
