Ban Mekkala Living
As you enter Ban Mekkala, you’re greeted by a peaceful pond filled with Koi fish and stunning views through the property to the glistening ocean in the distance. The villa is divided into separate pavilions shaded by palm trees and opening to direct beach access.
Living Room
The living room has an open-sided layout and houses plush sofas facing a flatscreen TV with DVD player and surround sound.
Dining Room
The dining area has a gourmet kitchen and a twelve-seat dining table. The villa also has an outdoor dining pavilion as well as a barbecue for outdoor dining.
Garden & Pool
The pool has a free-form shape and features a shallow section for the kids. The pool is lined by sun loungers and a spacious covered sala with an alfresco dining area. The pool is located within a few easy metres of the beach.

Ban Mekkala Layout
Ban Mekkala is a six-bedroom villa with an absolute beachfront location. The villa’s standalone pavilions overlook a large swimming pool which in turn extends to the beach. Four bedrooms have a king-sized bed and ensuite bathroom and two have twin beds that can be converted to a king with appropriate linen. These also include ensuite bathrooms.

Housekeeping
You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.

Ban Mekkala’s skilled Thai chef will happily prepare Thai cuisine and Western favorites.

It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. Additional security can also be arranged if the villa doesn’t include any in the daily rate.

Ban Mekkala is in Laem Sor, Koh Samui. The villa has an absolute beachfront location – just a few metres from the pool and your toes are touching the sand. Please take into account that this beach is affected by the tide. The villa is within 15 minutes from the town of Lamai. Ban Mekkala is located about 35 minutes from the airport.

What a truly amazing and incredible time we have just had at Ban Makkala. We were a party of 11 (parents, children and grandchildren) and from the moment we arrived and were met by the awesome villa manager Fai and her team and saw the villa for ourselves, we knew this would be the holiday of a lifetime … and it certainly was. The accommodation was beautiful and truly 5 star and the staff were so effortlessly polite, efficient and such lovely people. We ate in quite a bit because the food was so incredible and would recommend you to take advantage of Paula’s superb cooking. Special mentions to the other members of the team, Pin, Tung and Coco. We have only been home a day and are missing it already.

Where to start? Ban Mekkala is gorgeous, beautifully designed and decorated. The T shaped pool is amazing at all hours of the day and night (excellent star gazing). The staff were wonderful! So kind, thoughtful and courteous. They were helpful and lovely to be around, yet knew how to blend into the background and still be there when we needed them. The house manager was there to check in on what you might need and will take care of any arrangements you need for day trips, drivers, airport transportation and anything else you many need, from setting up sightseeing to ordering fresh fish for dinner. The villa is nestled in the middle of a quaint fishing village so it’s not built up. Overall a truly great place to stay both for couples, like us, or indeed families. Thank you.

Perfection in Paradise – ideal place to repair and restore
I can say without any hesitation that my stay at Ban Mekkala was the best holiday I’ve had. A large group of 11 of us stayed here over Christmas and New Year and the house quite exceeded all of my expectations. Beautifully situated in a quiet and peaceful part of the island, the house was tranquil and luxurious in equal measures. Separate sleeping quarters gave us the privacy we needed but big communal spaces meant we could comfortably relax together. The house has fantastic facilities, including one of the most beautiful swimming pools I’ve ever seen, and the moment you step off the property you find yourself on an exquisite beach, which is calm and unspoilt.
What made this holiday so spectacular was the staff. Every meal was cooked for us by Tum, who aside from being exceedingly charming, was a master in the kitchen. I’m still dreaming of his Papaya salad! Coco, Sai, Kai and Eak were a joy to be around, always smiling and making this gorgeous house seem even more idyllic. But it was Fai, the villa manager, who elevated our stay to pure perfection. She was always ready to answer any questions we had and made sure we had everything we needed at any given time. Thank you to all those wonderful people who made this a holiday to daydream over during the long English winters!

the best, most relaxing and luxurious holiday of our lives
11 of us spent 2 weeks over Xmas and new year in this wonderful villa by the sea in the quiet south of Koh Samui. Beautifully designed with care and no little artistry, this is a simply fabulous place to unwind, rest, heal and restore. Lots of spaces to gather communally or read on your own, the inviting sea before you, the infinity pool is quite fabulous and, at around 20m in length, is able to accommodate lap swimming.
What raises this villa from the merely fabulous to the simply sublime are the charming, helpful and thoughtful staff who discreetly tend to your every need: the fabulous cooking of Tum the chef; the lovely cleaners Sai and Kai; the helpful driver Eak; the cheerful and ever smiling Coco who tends the garden; but rising above even all of these wonderful people is the delightful Fai, the villa manager, who made our holiday the success it was by her patient answering of all our many questions and requests we bombarded her with on a daily basis. Thank you Fai. Thank you Ban Mekkala for the lingering memories.

Crystal Villa is one of the best Koh Samui has to offer
We had an amazing time at Crystal Villa. We had a group of 10 girls and everyone enjoyed our stay at the villa. The view is amazing (with glimps of sunset) as we are on the hill top. The pool feels like an infinity pool with great view. Most importantly, the staff are all very friendly and excellent cooks. We went out for a couple of meals and still felt the food at the villa are better than the food at the restaurant, so we ended up eating at the villa most of the time. Great way to spend your vacation!
