Living Room
The sprawling villa features two distinct living rooms for guests to gather around in. Each space boasts an open plan design with one wall opening to a wraparound terrace which gazes over spellbinding views of the rainforest and the sacred river which flows by the estate. The living areas are beautifully decorated using velvet sofas and leather armchairs, with unique art and design pieces adding a je ne sais quoi to the décor.
Dining Room
Two dining rooms are furnished with generous dining tables crafted from natural wood, perfectly complementing the bohemian chic decor of each room. Moving through the property feels like exploring an enchanted tropical kingdom. The villa is built on a stunning elevation, with views looking over Petanu River. Surrounded by lush rainforest, the air is filled with the gentle sounds of the jungle. Many of the rooms are connected through pathways built over thriving rice paddies. The two swimming pools are surrounded by vibrant greenery – your very own private oasis amidst this Balinese paradise. One of the most unique features – of which there are many – is the spiral staircase which leads from the villa down to the riverside. Built just over the flowing river you will find a stunningly serene yoga sala which is engulfed by Balinese jungle. Bedulu Cliff Estate features nine bedrooms decorated with beautifully crafted furniture, artfully woven textiles, curated antiques and bespoke works of art. The rooms are further enhanced by lush tropical views gazing over the surrounding jungle. Six rooms feature king-sized beds while three rooms come with two single beds each. Each bedroom is adjoined by an ensuite bathroom featuring scenic windows or a lush open layout that allows guests to become truly immersed with the tropics. Bedulu Cliff Estate is a nine-bedroom estate that consists of two villas located side by side – one with four bedrooms and the other with five bedrooms. Rooms are divided across multiple pavilions connected through garden pathways and walkways built over rice paddies. The villa features two swimming pools and two living and dining rooms. From the living areas, a spiral staircase leads down to the riverside where you will also find the villa’s private yoga shala.

Your stay in Bedulu Cliff Estate is made enjoyable by the professional staff. Bedulu Cliff Estate’s staff have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly Balinese hospitality.
Villa Manager
Bedulu Cliff Estate’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
Housekeeping
Housekeepers attend the villa daily to take care of all domestic duties.
Chef
The villa’s skilled private chef will happily prepare anything from the Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s suggestion menus, as well as discuss special requests and dietary requirements.
Security
Bedulu Cliff Estate includes night time security between 11pm – 7am.

Bedulu Cliff Estate is located in Ubud, a beautiful region known as the spiritual and cultural centre of Bali. True to its name, the villa is built on a stunning elevation and provides spellbinding views of the Petanu River and the surrounding jungle. This is the ultimate setting for relishing Bali’s pristine natural beauty and deep spiritual heritage.
Though the villa almost seems to exist in a magical dimension beyond space and time, the property is actually located just 10 minutes from central Ubud. Here you can visit famous landmarks including the Sacred Monkey Forest, Ubud Market and Saraswati Temple. Ubud is also famed for its spas, yoga studios and art galleries. Foodies will be well catered to as well, Ubud being home to exquisite fine-dining restaurants like Locavore and Kubu at Mandapa.

This place is truly a work of art. We hired both villa’s out with a large group for my brother’s wedding and it was breathtaking. The place is worthwhile of 5 stars purely on the accomodation and the views but a few things worth mentioning is that most vehicles can’t make it directly down to the accomodation being in such a narrow area, so you will have to walk. There is an incredible 100 stair climb down spiralling stairs, it’s a humbling experience back up.
Also, they are missing a great opportunity to provide cocktails/drinks and other options to their guests so that was the only downfall, over all, the place was a dream, the pools were lovely, the scenery was truly incredible and i’d recommend this place for a large group for a special occasion. The incident mentioned in previous reviews was a local lady with dementia who was lost and confused, we never felt unsafe here and i would assume a language barrier with staff resulted in a poor resolution.

We just stayed at the complete Cliff Estate, all 9 rooms. The scenery, decor and building quality is second to none. Attention to detail is definitely there. The view down to the river is amazing but the stairs aren’t for the faint of heart. Maria and her staff were lovely and very accommodating. A credit to the villa for sure. They were able to run errands for us at an additional charge.
The paid breakfasts were very worthwhile especially eating as 17 people on a big table overlooking the river.
Access to the estate isn’t possible with large vehicles but the staff can assist bringing bags
We personally didn’t feel the dinner experiences were worth the price. We were expecting a private chef experience but all the food was cooked in a different building and there were no explanations on what each meal was. Though they did set the table and bring out the meals together.
It would be nice to have better access to the river. There were stairs down to it but there was almost no riverbank to walk on which was a shame as the river was beautiful. Building a pontoon or similar would be beneficial to the experience.
Would definitely stay again! Thanks for hosting our family.
