With its tiled roofs and rustic stone elements, Bougainvillea Retreat harks back to the fabled villas of Tuscany. But just as the name suggests, the villa has its roots in the tropics: everywhere you turn, there is lush green beauty to marvel at. Perched on a hilltop away from the crowds, the villa is luxuriously spacious and blissfully private. You feel like the only people in the world in the best possible way.

Living Room

The living room is a warm and welcoming place to have fun as a group. Fronted by glass doors opening to the poolside terrace, the room features a generous arrangement of sofas and a pool table for friendly games or full-on tournaments. Vibrant pops of colour nod to the villa’s tropical moniker.

Dining Room

The dining area is incorporated to the living room, allowing guests to mingle uninterrupted throughout the day. The same space also includes a fun bar counter where you can all gather during happy hour. There is also a lovely dining area by the pool where you can enjoy fabulous meals and equally gorgeous views.

Spa

Feel all your stress simply melt away at the villa’s heavenly garden spa. This open-air spa features massage beds, with the adjoining jacuzzi and steam room offering further indulgence.

Garden & Pool

True to its tropically inspired name, Bougainvillea Retreat is surrounded by luscious natural beauty that seems to go on forever. The highlight is a stunning freeform pool which mimics the beauty of a natural lagoon. The pool is framed by ample sun beds, a lounge area, and alfresco dining table, all offering amazing views of the surrounding hills and the lake glistening below.

Bougainvillea Retreat features seven bedrooms. All rooms are uniquely styled which makes it fun to choose the room that most speaks to you. The rooms benefit from king-sized beds, large ensuite bathrooms, and lovely green views. There are four bedrooms in the main house. One of these is adjoined by a smaller twin-bedded room, creating a great family suite. The three remaining rooms are semi-detached rooms located in the garden.

Bougainvillea Retreat is a seven-bedroom villa that’s divided into two buildings. The main building houses the living and dining areas and four ensuite bedrooms. The garden pavilion houses three semi-detached bedrooms. The villa is surrounded by generous gardens which feature a garden spa pavilion and an expansive lagoon pool.

Your stay in Bougainvillea Retreat is made enjoyable by the professional staff. Bougainvillea Retreat’s staff have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly Sri Lankan hospitality.

Villa Manager

Bougainvillea Retreat’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

You didn’t think you would be expected to clean while enjoying time off did you? All of our villas include housekeeping to tidy up the villa, arrange the laundry services, wash up and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday with the family.

Butlers

Butlers are on hand everyday to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout your stay.

Chef

The villa’s skilled private chef will happily prepare anything from the Western, Asian, vegetarian and children’s suggestion menus, as well as discuss special requests and dietary requirements.

Security

It’s nice to know you have security and many villas will have full-time guards or night time security available. Additional security can also be arranged if the villa doesn’t include any in the daily rate.
