Corniche Hirafu Overview

Looking for the best of the best? Welcome to Corniche Hirafu. This spectacular chalet sits on the edge of Hirafu Village, offering unobstructed views of Mount Yotei and easy access to all the area’s best restaurants. This enviable locale alone would make Corniche Hirafu a standout – but the chalet pulls out all the stops when it comes to design, too. This glass encased chalet redefines slope side luxury, marrying luxurious furnishings and awe-inspiring architecture with authentic Japanese touches and unique wellness features. The chalet boasts its own outdoor onsen that’s complemented by a sauna and a plunge pool. The grand living areas offer amazing views of the snowy landscape, and the same is true for the four bedrooms. Corniche Hirafu is not just one of the most impressive properties in Niseko – it’s one of the most amazing chalets you’ll find anywhere in the world.

Corniche Hirafu Living

There’s no question – Corniche Hirafu is one of the greatest “wow” chalets in all of Niseko. Masterfully designed by Riccardo Tossani, the architect behind many of the region’s most prominent landmarks, the chalet oozes style and luxury. While the chalet impresses with its showpiece features, it’s the details that make it one of the greats. Not only does the chalet have an outdoor onsen – this is an authentic onsen fed by a natural spring. Yes, the chalet has a large, two-car garage – but did you notice that the driveway is heated, and that you can plug your car into a Tesla Powerwall? Down to the tiniest detail, everything about this chalet was designed to impress.

Living Room

The living room is a real show stopper. The sky high ceilings and endless windows lend the space a sense of grandeur that’s perfectly echoed in the designer furniture. An arrangement of circular sofas creates the most fabulous conversation pit at the centre of the room, with mighty Mount Yotei creating the most spectacular back drop. The roaring fireplace adds to that mountainside magic.

Dining Room

The dining area is incorporated to that same gorgeous space and benefits from those same jaw-dropping views. Illuminated by a stunning light fixture, the long grand dining table can easily seat a group of 12. Close by, the chalet’s open plan kitchen offers all the crockery and every gadget you might need, including an impressively sized wine cellar.

Media Room

The media room echoes the futuristic design of the living room. It features a large TV and a beautifully sculpted sofa. It’s the perfect setup for getting the whole group together for a cosy movie night.

Spa

Corniche Hirafu might just be the most relaxing chalet in Niseko. This wellness centred chalet features an outdoor rotenburo bath that’s fed by a natural hot spring well. The private sauna and plunge pool add yet another relaxing element.

Location

Corniche Hirafu is located on the border between Middle and Lower Hirafu in Niseko, Japan. This is a terrific and central location in Niseko’s buzziest resort. The chalet is positioned in a scenic and quiet spot, yet it’s within a short stroll from all the best restaurants and convenience stores. It really is the best of both worlds. The ski lifts are a good 10-minute walk up the hill, but the free ski shuttle will whisk you there in no time. If you feel confident to drive in the snow, the chalet’s two-car garage will come in handy.

Niseko Travel Guide

Niseko has fast emerged as the premiere ski destination in Asia. Known for offering the best powder on the planet, Niseko is made up of four interconnecting ski resorts located at the imposing Mount Annupuri. What was once the stomping ground of powder hounds travelling on a budget has been transformed into an enclave of luxury ski chalets and condos, with vibrant dining and nightlife paired with serene onsen hot springs and endless natural beauty.

    JEANNE GREY

Staying at Corniche Hirafu was truly an unforgettable experience — it’s the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and stunning design. Nestled on Millionaires’ Row, it feels incredibly private, yet it’s just a short walk to great restaurants and bars. The private onsen, sauna, and plunge pool were absolute highlights, especially after a day on the slopes, and the views from the floor-to-ceiling windows were simply breathtaking. Every detail was so well thought out — from the cozy fireplace in the master suite to the ski rooms, heated driveways, and even EV chargers. It’s rare to find a place that feels both luxurious and warm, but Corniche Hirafu delivers on every level — I can’t wait to return.
