The chalet is built over two floors, and the full wall windows and light interiors make the property feel all the more spacious. Every piece of furniture and each appliance and gadget has been carefully chosen to create a private cocoon of style and comfort. Though the restaurants of Echoland are only a stroll away, you might find yourself preoccupied at the chalet instead. Besides its inspiring design and strategic locale, this fully loaded chalet also comes with a 65-inch TV, stunning bathtub, Nescafe coffee machine, generous workspace, scenic balcony… and more.

Living the good life comes easy at Echo Rocks. As soon as you step through the front door, you’re welcomed into a world of modern style and plush comfort. During winter, your toes are kept nice and toasty by the hydronic underfloor heating and when the weather gets warm, all rooms are kept cool by the AC. The furniture is beautifully curated and highly functional, and all the appliances are of the highest quality, from the smart TV to the Nescafe coffee machine. Yet another highlight are those mesmerising views – there is nothing quite like cuddling up on the sofa with a steaming cup of cocoa while gazing out to Happo One!

Living Room

Accessed through a floating staircase, the living room is an impressive space that’s flooded with natural light and frosty views of Hakuba’s nature. This lounge room features two robin blue sofas and an artfully distressed carpet echoing the same hues. You can either grab a seat and get lost in the views looking out to Happo One or stream your favourite shows on the 65-inch TV. A scenic balcony is beautifully wedged between the lounge room and the dining area. If you need to catch up on some emails or jump on a conference call, the living room also features a generous workspace.

Dining Room

The full wall windows make the dining area feel nothing short of luminous. The space is dominated by a light timber table surrounded by eight white-and-timber chairs. The dining area extends to an open-plan kitchen fitted with all the essentials and then some, including a sleek AEG oven and cooktop and a Nescafe coffee machine.

Echo Rocks features four bedrooms. The bedrooms, which are located on the ground floor, have a light and airy feel to them – the perfect setup for some restorative sleep after a rigorous day on the slopes. All four rooms offer the choice between a king-sized bed or two singles based on guests’ preference. There is also an extra “maid’s” bedroom on the upper floor. This compact room features a single bed.

Property Manager

The chalet’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the chalet. The property manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.

Housekeeping

Our chalets in Japan often have housekeeping 1 – 2 times per week depending on the property. Each chalet will have their own cleaning schedule.

Echo Rocks is located in the Hakuba ski region at the foot of the Japanese Alps. The chalet is positioned just on the edge of Echoland and offers marvellous views looking out to Happo One. From this rarefied locale, you can stroll to the main dining strip in about five minutes. Here you’ll find izakaya eateries and cosy cafes to explore after days spent out on the slopes. The Happo One ski lifts are located about five minutes from the chalet, while Hakuba 47 and Goryu are about 10 minutes away.
