Eminence Overview
Eminence is a striking pair of chalets positioned in a fabulous location in Hakuba, Japan. Located side by side, the two chalets are completely self-contained. Each of them offers all the modern comforts needed for enjoying an epic stay amid the Japanese Alps. Spread over two floors, the chalets boast light and airy living areas which take pride of place on the upper floor. Here you can lounge on the sofa, catch up on your favourite Netflix shows and enjoy the warm glow of the fireplace while others are cooking up a storm in the open-plan kitchen or enjoying a glass of wine at the dining table. After an action-packed day on the slopes, choose one of the three bedrooms and enjoy a restful night’s sleep before doing it all over again the next day.

Eminence Living
The Eminence chalets are packed with thoughtful features that will make your stay in Hakuba feel as smooth as a slope covered in fresh powder. The chalets have the latest entertainment systems (including 4K TVs with Apple TV and Netflix) and top-of-the-line kitchens fitted with premium appliances and Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee machines. As always, it’s the little things that really take these chalets to the next level. Not only do the chalets come with underfloor heating, but you can individually adjust the heating in each room so that the temperature is always to each guests’ liking.
Living Room
The upper floor is the social hub in these two-storey chalets. This is where you will find the living and dining areas which are fluidly connected thanks to the open floorplan. Full wall windows flood the space with light during the day and after nightfall, there is nothing better than curling up on the grey sofa while streaming a good movie and enjoying the cosy glow of the EcoSmart fireplace.
Dining Room
The dining table is located just behind the lounge area so there is no need to break up the party even when some of you are still lounging on the sofa. The table is smart and modern and surrounded by eight equally chic chairs. Just a few steps away, the chalet’s open-plan kitchen is dominated by a sleek island. The kitchen offers all the conveniences you could ask for, including a Miele oven and cooktop. The chef’s knife set is yet another thoughtful feature.
Eminence Bedrooms
Each of the Eminence chalets features three bedrooms. The bedrooms are divided over two floors: one on the ground floor and two upstairs, next to the living and dining room. The decor is incredibly soothing with light timber walls paired with crisp white linen. Each room can be set up either with a king-sized bed or two single beds – whichever suits you best.
Bedroom 1
The first bedroom is located on the ground floor, ensuring an added sense of privacy. The light and airy room features full wall windows, a king-sized bed (or two singles if you prefer), wardrobes, a flatscreen TV and a work desk for breaking out the laptop. The ensuite bathroom features a bath, shower, vanity and toilet.

This is one of two bedrooms located on the chalet’s upper floor. The room features either a king-sized bed or two singles – whichever you prefer. There is no ensuite bathroom but there is a standalone bathroom right next door. It features a shower, vanity and toilet.

Eminence Layout
Eminence is a pair of three-bedroom chalets that are built over two floors. The chalets are located side by side and they are each completely self-contained. The chalets share the same layout where the ground floor houses one bedroom, a powder room and the ski room. The upper floor houses the living and dining areas and two more bedrooms.
Eminence Staff
Your stay is made enjoyable by the professional staff who have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly hospitality.
Property Manager
The chalet’s experienced and knowledgeable manager is responsible for the overall operation of the chalet. The property manager will oversee and coordinate the staff and property and assist you during your stay.
Housekeeping
Our chalets in Japan often have housekeeping 1 – 2 times per week depending on the property. Each chalet will have their own cleaning schedule.
Location
The Eminence chalets are located in the Hakuba ski region in Japan. The chalets occupy a serene cul-de-sac surrounded by forest and a handful of other high-end residences. The Hakuba 47 ski lifts are just a two-minute drive away. The Goryu slopes can be reached in about five minutes while Happo One is about 10 minutes away. For dining options, you will find plenty of great restaurants in the Echoland neighbourhood which you can reach in a quick five-minute drive.

Sara O’Shea –
There are two Eminence chalets, side by side in an exclusive enclave just a short drive from Hakuba 47 and Goryu’s ski slopes. At this end of Kamishiro there are few neighbours in sight, with forests making up most of what you can see from the expansive ceiling-high windows.
Season C –
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
This was my first Hakuba trip and my friends managed everything from where to stay, where to eat to where to snowboard. When I arrived Emience, I was amazed because it was so new, clean and most importantly COZY! The host was was responsive. The accommodation was close to the mountains (it requires 5-10 mins driving, depends where you go.) We cooked our breakfast every morning and the kitchen was fully equipped. We tried looking at the place for next year and a few time slots were booked out already. Would definitely come back and stay again!
